    So THAT'S why there was so much traffic on Stuebner.....I was driving back to work from lunch, and there was a traffic jam right outside KHS. Interesting. Man, things are getting rough all over. I never thought the day someone would get shot up here in Spring-Klein would come. It's always been such a peaceful, safe place to live.

    There was another robbery just an hour or two later at the Citi bank on Cypresswood...

    This is usually a safe area, with the police station nearby and all...

    Sucks what people do...hopefully they will be caught..

    Nobody is saying "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN HERE".....but the truth is, growing up in that area, I would be hard pressed to even remember ONE incident of a robbery, or crime taking place. It WAS peaceful and quiet, and 10-15 years ago, news of a bank robbery in the area would have really shaken people up. It's not a part of town that you hear stuff like this happen. Crime moving away from the inner city, and surrounding area is a very real phenomenon, and I'm not sure why that's LOL-worthy to be honest.

    he said like it will never happen here. its LOL-Worthy because its that type of thinking that can put people in vulnerable situations (like leaving doors unlocked, car running, ect.). You can't get too comfortable in your surroundings. Lots of people who move into nice areas start to feel like they're exempt from crime because of where they live. Those folks are usually the ones getting caught off guard because they're easy targets.

    I think your giving up on life if you decide to rob a bank. Isnt that the hardest crime to get away with? with all the technology and all?
