Kahn must be a Laker Fan...vote Francis and Cuttino Mobley. I understand Kobe has a higher possibility of making it, but give Mobes some love! He's a likable guy and his game is improved from last year.

Just how many pg or even guards in the west is that much stronger than him this year statistically? Steve should get in this year based on performance, the only thing that hurt him is the negative press around him about not passing to Yao (which even JVG said is untrue).

Kobe will make it. There is no doubt about that, so any vote that goes to Marbury, Maggette, Gary Payton, Mike Bibby, Steve Nash, or any other guard will add votes to other players that are competing with Steve Francis.

It really sounds strange, a vote for SF and CM will do the same, and help CM, as long as we don't vote Marbury, Maggette, GP..., why waste a vote for Kobe??

I voted. Now I understand it. Man this sucks. The way Francis has been doing is really going to make it tough for him to be voted in by the fans. But I still think he has a good chance of being selected by coaches. Man, does it have to be like this? I mean, is it really because of Yao that caused Francis' stat to drop? This team surely can hold two super stars, or can it?

Exactly. Who cares if they deserve it or not. Its the fact that they are rockets and if they are in the ASG, the city of Houston is represented and gets Pub.

The rox must lead the league in most 24 sec shot clock violations cause Steve Francis freaking dribbles the ball so much! No way should that fraud be an all-star.

Didn't want to start a new thread but the second results are in in the All Star voting: http://www.nba.com/news/allstar_031224.html

Francis is still ahead of Payton for 2nd among Wetsern guards and Yao is 8th overall but still well over 100K votes behing Shaq.
