Second Round Sleepers

    Just want to see who do you guys think the 2nd round sleepers in this years draft will be!!!
    I have my sleeper lineup listed below.
    1.Peter Michkeal out of CU( may go in 1st round)
    2.Pepe Sanchez out of Temple
    3.Jeryl Sasser out of SMU if he dosen't pull out( may go late in 1st round)
    4.Johnny Hemsley out of Miami U
    5.Brain Cardinal from Purdue

    I don't see how Cardinal will make it.....6'8'' PF with a whopping 15 inch vertical, and no outside shot. Desire will only get him so far.

    come on nikestrad, guys like cardinal have a place in this league. Im not calling cardinal a bird (as in larry), but bird's vert. could not have been much higher then 15 inches also.

    The difference is when they played. People are bigger, stronger, and faster now. Bird could also do other things. Score from anywhere on the court, pass, handle the ball, etc.

    As it stands right now, he's slightly undersized for a PF (not really undersized, but ideally, a PF is about 6'9'') and he doesn't have a huge vertical, or long arms to make up for it.

    Cardinal reminds me of a joe cline/ chris dudley type guy a guy who can come off the bench for 5-15 min every game to give hard fouls, tough D, and provide RBs

    he might do allright, will have to play euro ball for 1st couple of years, but eventually he will find his niche.
