Dems have to stand firm on this one...frame it where they're only trying to ensure that workers are protected and that Republicans are only looking our for big business interests.

Republicans literally want to work Americans to death

So let's add all this up. In the meatpacking industry, President Trump is ordering Americans back to dangerous work sites, with no evidence they'll be given adequate protection. Meanwhile, Republicans and their big-business constituents want to reopen the economy, and use the threat of financial destitution to coerce people into returning to work, whether they think it's safe or not. Lastly, not only is the GOP uninterested in using the government's power to force employers to take proper precautions, they want to stop the courts from forcing employers to do so as well. "Work under the shadow of coronavirus, or starve" seems to be the order the Republican Party wants to give the country, with no guarantee of safety other than the cost-benefit analysis of employers' consciences.

The GOP has been itching to roll this trial lawyer argument back out since the 2001 use against Democrats who wanted TSA agents to have collective bargaining rights and they said the democrats were siding with unions over terrorists.

The only opportunistic litigation we can support during this trying time is the suing of all the fake news outlets.

This is the kind of bold policy initiative that will get us out of a depression.

You can prostrate yourself before the human sacrifice plinth of big bidness all you want. You can try to declare war on government that you swore to protect and destroy tens of millions of more jobs.

People. Are. Scared. To. Leave. Their. House.

    People. Don't. Have. Any. Money.

And they ****ing should be scared.

Moscow Mitch, epsilon semi moron of democracy, can confirm as many vile fascist prick judges as he wants but neither of these two things will change.

It's up to the Democratic Party to save the country. Again. God help us all.
