    Seattle Times -
Jerome James, who has played in only two games this season for New York, has told the Seattle Times that he wants to be traded to a team where he can play in the final two years of a 5 year, $29 milllion contract given to him by Isiah Thomas and the Knicks.

"I'm hoping that either they use me or move me," James said. "I love Zeke [Thomas]. Zeke is by far my favorite coach. I had a great relationship with [Nate McMillan]. He's a great guy, but as far as relating to a guy, Zeke is by far my favorite coach. So I don't even want to go to him with this right now."

"I'm not trying to disrupt the team. I know I've been injured. ... I know he feels pressure to throw me out there, and I said, 'No, don't throw me out there. Don't change nothing.' I'm not looking to be moved right now. We can make a playoff push. But the summer is always there. Do it then. If they aren't going to use me, move me." [READ]

he may want out, but who would want him in?

Who on Earth is Jerome James?

First of all (in Charles Barleys voice) If I have never heard of him then why is it news that he wants a trade.

Second, who is gonna even be interested in this "Jerome James"

This guy hasn't done anything since that one year the Sonics did really well in the playoffs and almost defeated the Spurs in the 04-05 2nd round playoffs.

He started for seattle couple years ago, puting up 5 points a game. Did good in the playoffs and the knicks throw him 30 million. Thats all it takes. Some people will work thier entire lives and not make 3 million. This guy worked hard for 2 weeks and wuz given 30 million. It aint right.

More like he played big in a single playoff series the year Seattle was good. Probably nobody so bad has ever been rewarded so much for doing so little. He's kind of like Mikki Moore x 10 and the only reason his horrible signing is forgotten is that the Knicks have since made even more horrible signingings.

Sounds like a good contract to use to exchange for Mike James. Less money, fewer years, no reason Isaiah wouldn't do it.

At least he performed in the playoffs. You forgot Kelvin Cato's enormous contract after getting a triple double in a pre-season game.

Well, no $hit! Zeke was the one who gave him that crazy contract that was immediately considered by everyone(correctly) to be the worst contract handed out that year.

I'd be singing praises of Isiah if he gave me that much money for being a big stiff.

Wow. That's one of the funniest thread titles I've seen in awhile, just for the sheer ridiculousness of it.

What's next? Maybe "Darvin Ham demands trade?" :D

Jerome Jones should STFU. She's lucky to run into a moron that pays him 30 millions for eating steaks and burgers in New York.
