    Wow:eek:

I remember the "pep rally" for the Oilers at the Astrodome after they lost the AFC Championship game to the Steelers (Bum's famous "this year we knocked on the door, next year we're gonna kick the damn door in" speech).

The place was overfilled. People were climbing up on the air condition units next to the scoreboard. Some of the crowd yelled "Don't do it", thinking some fans might jump.

Now if they would have had one of those after that Bill's game (geez, that still hurts) there is no doubt someone would have jumped.

i would have jumped after the Bills game...

to this day, nothing has hurt me more than that loss... some of you may say its pathetic that a sports event could affect a human being in that type of manner... but screw you! :(

This is a horrible story. I feel for the man's family and friends. I hope nobody is making light of this.

I bet he's the type of guy who did whatever people told him to do so he would be considered, "cool". I assume some drunk guys, (There's always drunk guys at opening events) told him to jump once he got up there on that portion. He listened and jumped.

    Sad event

Yeah, what a horrible thing to happen.

The Seattle media has been going on and on about the new stadium. Seattlites tend to go crazy over things like this. Everyone has been so excited about the new stadium, they seem to have forgotten that the Seahawks are a terrible team. Still, anything for some excitement.

This reminds me of when a Crispy Creme doughnut shop opened here several months ago. It was the top story on the local news. Lines to get into the store stretched for miles.

So, it's a national obsession, is it?

What's so good about these doughnuts? Are they crispy, yet creamy at the same time?

personally i don't care for doughnuts...

but if i did, i'll never understand why people would wait in line for over an hour just for a certain type of food! its just a pastry, and its not good for your health... keep driving and get something healthy!
