There was an article on TechCrunch about SeatKarma today, so I was checking it out just to see. I guess you actually get a view from the seats that are available, which is a neat feature, and they pool from a lot of ticket websites that I had never heard of before, which I assume are reputable.

But seriously, check out section 419 for the Raptors game. How in the world are there $2 tickets to Rockets games, even if it's in the nosebleeds? Is attendance really that bad?

Anybody ever used a site like this before? I hear commercials for Stubhub and stuff, but I've never tried one of those sites. I usually just get tickets strait from the Box office, and the only time I've ever used a *ahem* scalper it was for MORE than the listed price.

I'm tempted, but curious to hear your experiences.

not sure if this site is legit but 30 bucks for lower level is not bad at all.

I just clicked on some and it came up with 10.50 in charges for handling and 25 bucks for shipping. No other options on shipping either.

    Seems like a scam.

    I looked at it too...
The reason why the shipping is $25 is because its Express Delivery since the game is tomorrow...if you select other upcoming games there is an option for Standard delivery.

Oh awesome. Yeah that makes sense.

Sweet... I might actually try this out. I'm in Austin but my parents still live in Houston. I'll have to plan this into my next trip down there.

Here's the article I read, by the way: http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/03/02/seatkarma-helps-you-find-the-best-seat-in-the-house/

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have tickets for Round Rock Express games, at least not yet. :)

Seems like it'd only be worth it for the expensive seats. You look at those $2 tickets, add in a $5 convenience fee each, and tack on $15 shipping, it's not much of a deal at all.

Yeah... for the short term ones it starts getting expensive with all the high priority shipping, etc. But I looked into the Orlando game next month and I was able to get 4 tickets that normally go for $76 from Rockets.com for $42, with shipping included.

    That's not bad at all.
