    Looking to trade the following.

Vernon Wells and Ray Hilliard. Id like a younger CF with better leadoff qualities, and an absolute stud young bullpen guy.

    kidrock,

You know I have to involve Chipper and Wags-- I'm over budget as it is. They shouldn't be too hard to trade considering they just have one year deals.

    Chipper
    Wagner
Gabe Kapler (cheap at 2.9 mil, good CF alternative, gives room to trade Preston)
Alejandro Machado (good, young, ready 2B prospect)
Jim Hinz (good, young, pitching prospect)

    All those for A-rod...

Available for the Giants are CF's Jackson Melian and Alhaji Turay. Both are young, and Turay had a talent increase last season. Also prospect LF Bill Sproles may be available, and I'm open to negotiating a deal for my 5th pick in the rookie draft. For any of these players, I need good SP's (especially for Sproles or the pick).

Hey DHR, I am very interested in your pick. I want my Crazy Stover! If you can make it to the chat, we can try and work something out.

anybody need a good power hitter with stealing ability, yes ryan klesko is 37 years old and declined a little last yr, but he still had a plus .900 ops last year and i will be willing to take some salary back like 4-5 mil-even 6 if necessary, i just need to shave a slight amount payroll wise

Any teams interested reply here or email me at davidv2001@yahoo.com

i also could move dye maybe for a younger good, cheaper player-must be very good though

Farmer Matthew, Vince Bates, Jose Pope could be traded.

    Farmer- 2B, AGF.
    Bates- 2B, AAG
    Pope- CF, AAG

Pope and the Farmer are young and both have good defense.

Looking for quality prospects, or to move up in the draft. Any of my players are available, with the exception of Glaus, Smither, and Ong.

Some of my better players on the block include Wood, Christiansen, Choi, Castillo, Guzman, Chouinard, Posada, Tavarez, and Zambrano. All have had all-star caliber years in the past, most are fairly young. The better the player you ask for, the better the prospect/pick I would want in return.

Giants have an overload of pitching, both RP and SP's...here's who is available:

    J. Parque 33 SP Average Average Average Average C
    R. Ortiz 33 SP Good Fair Fair Average B
    R. Walker 29 SP Average Fair Average Good D
    C. Reitsma 31 SP Average Average Average Average D
    W. Wendell 27 SP Fair Good Average Average C
    J. Foppert 28 MR Average Average Fair Average D
    D. Graves 35 CL Average Good Fair Average B
    K. Ligtenberg 37 CL Good Average Fair Good D
    T. Hoffman 41 CL Average Good Good Brilliant D
    B. Bailey 30 MR Average Good Good Average C

I'm looking to package either 1 or 2 SP, or 1 or 2 RP for some prospects. Really doesn't matter a whole lot what position they are, but depending on who you want in return I will see what caliber prospect I want. I could even do a couple of SP and a couple of RP for a solid prospect or two.

The only thing I'd take besides prospects are a good hitting SS, or a good hitting C. I also don't want to take on any salary, and would prefer to give some of it away.

Okay, I'm looking to deal Chuck Ricks. He is too good to be languishing in AAA, but I don't have a spot for him in my rotation.

He would be the centerpiece of a deal. Other players that are definitely available include Bruce Aven and Billy Musselwhite. Others that could be available include some of my relievers like Ken Renfroe and Julio Santana as well as possibly Mike Darr and Vince Faison. Please, do not ask for me to trade prospects because Ricks is one of my top 5...that's enough. I also have cash but would rather not use it.

What I'm looking for is a power hitter to protect Shawn Green. He should be able to hit 40 homers and drive in over 100 RBIs. Don't EVEN suggest a guy that is not capable of doing that. I would prefer him to be a younger guy like under 30, but I would take an older player plus a big contract if needed. Basically it would be Ricks + others for power hitter + (maybe someone else depending on who the power hitter is).

Email me at jfyoung@charter.net or reply in the thread.

BTW - It would take a lot to get one of my starters...so please be realistic if you want one of them.

Why deal him? He has far more potential than most of the people in your roster. You're not going to win anything this year. Why the hell are you playing for now, when clearly, you need to be playing for the future.

I understand where you're coming from haven. But how many seasons have I been in your sim? This is like my 6th or 7th season and I haven't won sh*t. Yea, maybe I have done a terrible job in managing my team, and if I was like you, BGM, or TheCat, etc. I would have already won a World Series by now. But the fact remains that I haven't. I am tired of waiting on my team to get better with young guys...I feel like I'm not going anywhere, always around .500. Patience is something that I need to work on, obviously, but come on...6 or 7 seasons of mediocrity is long enough for anyone to endure.

Sammy - how far would a pitching prospect like Cyclone Harley go for me as far as acquiring a starting pitcher from you is concerned?

kidrock - Lance Johnson is a capable young backstop who I could trade you. I find myself to have an extreme case of interest in Jeff D'Amico, and if SamCassell doesn't like Harley then I could give you at least both of them in a D'Amico deal. Let me know if you're interested.
