Someone pleeeeeeaaaaaase take some of my players. Quite seriously, I have about 35 players who deserve a roster spot and merit playing time. I'd like to trade some of these guys for younger talent. Some of the guys I want to trade now are close to elite, I just don't have room for them. People available: Seung Song Ben Diggins Chien-Ming Wang Alex Graman Tom Martin LaTroy Hawkins Chris Burke Adam Everett Jason Lane Doe Kimbell G. Bonet T. Longley R. Thornton H. Martinez. M. Sanchez Victor McMeans V. Nguyen All of these guys deserve some playing time! They range in talent from all-stars to extremely good subs and 5th starters. Nobody on this list should be in the minors, all are useful major leaguers. So, if you want to trade, let me know Note: Trading certain of these players would preclude me from trading others
haven i have interest in lane, diggins, song, kimbell, burke only minor leaguers i prefer to keep are place and kaczmarek for understandable reasons if we can work cash in on the deal itd be great, but not a deal breaker but what would you think of mauch/juliano for one...something like that
Rich Garces and Carl Everett are available. Also 28 year old Sun Woo Kim, who just underwent a talent increase. Is now a Good, Avg, Brilliant, Brilliant could possibly be available. Email- BigA853@yahoo.com AIM- BigA835
Haven, I would be more than happy to take one of your starters or a position player off your hands. Look for whatever you want in the minors and we can talk. Ill be at the draft tonight, so Ill talk to ya then.
dv: But those are the only people I'm interested in. You can't acquire someone like Lane or Diggins without paying the piper in terms of prospects.
i know the drill, haven, i just thought id try... harrington is a possiblity but i know your feeling on people with a 0 in era, but feel free to hit me back with offers and ill see what i can do
Jon Lieber is available for anyone that needs a pretty solid starter. He's 35, but still has good ratings and isn't declining yet. I'd like either OF help or a 1B for him. haven...I am interested in Lane and Kimball. I might have some young guys that will interest you. Take a look and see what it would take to get either of those guys.
Mike Lieberthal is available, for anyone needing a pretty good catcher. I'd like a solid prospect starting pitcher in return.
If anyone needs a closer I have Antonio Alfonseca. I also have Phil Nevin on the block for anyone who is interested. I'd like to get some prospects.
I've had some pretty decent offers in terms of talent. That said, it's not exactly what I'm looking for. Some people have made statesments like "you'll have to take some older players." But why? I already HAVE older players. In fact, most of the offers I've had have been with players older than the ones I'm currently attempting to trade. If I had salary cap problems, this might be different. I don't. I can afford every one of thse guys. I just think it's r****ded that I have potential all-stars on the bench when some people don't have 3 OF's with OPS's above .750. Not all prospects work out. So I'm offering sure-fire guys who are ready now in exchange for prospects who aren't even more talented to compensate for the fact that they might bust, simply because my guys are going to waste right now.
haven, Reyes is possible, but Gutierrez is pretty much untouchable right now. It may take another prospect with Lane to get Reyes though. I would like to give Lankford or another guy to even out salaries .
dhr, Lane is probably worth a bit more than Reyes alone. I don't see any incentive to give two players for less value AND take on a worthless player with salary. I'm afraid I'm going to have to withdraw from all negotiations for now. If anyone has a deal that I might be interested in, email me.
Sun Woo Kim. come on fellas, hes Good Avg Brill Brill. Also, Garces and Everett are available. Maybe I could package all three in a monster deal with like 25 million in cash as well. Kim is a potential Cy Young winner, Everett is very good offensively, and Garces is a stud middle reliever. Please make offers. For any GMs out to win this year to dethrone the Stros, I am offering Kim, Garces, and Everett as well as 25 million dollars cash in a potential blockbuster deal.
Jason Bulger, last season's NL rookie of the year, is available for a prospect. He's a SP and is currently 1-0, 3.60 era. Good/Average/Average/Good talent. Unfortunately, I won't have a spot for him in the rotation when Christiansen recovers from his injury. All I'm looking for is a player of similar skill level, but maybe two years away from the bigs, preferably a power hitting OF or a pitcher. Or, I could package Bulger with one or more of my other great prospects (Seto, Saine, Mendez, Phillips, Pilkington) for someone better.
Pretty much any of my veterans are available including the "ageless" wonder Barry Bonds. This also includes Shawn Green, Mike Darr, Reggie Sanders, Craig Counsell, and Jose Hernandez. Also, pitching-wise, Bryan Rekar, Doug Davis, and Rod Beck are also available. I sorta want to hold on to Aaron Sele, Darren Dreifort, and Rudy Seanez for now. What am I looking for? Really just prospects who are ready to play at the major league level ....please do not ask me to trade any of my prospects for veterans unless you throw in a prospect that is equal in value in what I'm giving up.
Mariners stud pitchers Gil Meche, Livan Hernandez, Scott Schoeneweis and Jason Isringhausen are possibly available! These three guys have been consistently awesome pitchers year in and year out. However, seeing as how they don't really help my rebuilding team right now, I may trade them, but only for stud young prospects. Gil Meche - The best of the bunch. He is only 27 and has been a cy-young candidate for 4 straight seasons, going on 5. He is locked up for 5 more seasons. 2002 3.41 17 9 0 32 1 1 213.2 81 72 123 SEA,AL 2003 4.14 16 7 0 31 1 0 208.2 96 78 133 SEA 2004 3.03 20 3 0 32 0 0 217.0 73 88 116 SEA,AL 2005 3.93 16 6 0 32 3 1 217.2 95 81 143 SEA This season he's already 3-0 on a team playing with a bunch of minor league batters. Livan Hernandez - Another stud. Only 31 and a combined 45-17 over the last 3 seasons. He's out for another 3 weeks or so, but after his first 2 starts this year already has a low era. 2005 3.95 17 7 0 31 12 1 230.1 101 54 185 ATL,SEA,AL He is locked up for the next 6 seasons. Scott Schoeneweis - A suprise pitcher who came out of nowhere to become an all-star. He had his off-year last season and is back on track again, with a 3-0 start and 2.78 era through 4 starts, including a 1 hitter last week. 2003 4.33 17 9 1 31 4 1 197.1 95 73 78 SEA 2004 4.29 17 7 0 32 5 2 211.2 101 81 102 SEA,AL He is locked up for the next 3 seasons. Jason Isringhausen - One of the league's top closers. Always starts the season off slow then comes on strong. 2003 2.91 6 0 1 31 0 0 58.2 19 22 51 BOS 2004 3.76 8 5 37 63 0 0 67.0 28 40 58 BOS,SEA 2005 2.58 5 5 28 54 0 0 59.1 17 34 47 SEA,AL He is locked up for the next 4 seasons. All 4 of these guys could put a playoff team over the top with these all-star pitchers. Interested in prospects/draft picks.
