Quite a few: 1-4 high box 3pt plays zipper high post hawks double high sideline triangle inside triangle quick hitters ball screen flex turn out motion auto What all these does even The Cat isnt totally updated on. And auto is the only option to combine offenses - you cant specify more than one. You also have mulitple option on D as already known: plenty of zones - you name it and cat can put it in. press - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full trap - 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full auto you can also assign players to special D options - have one player press an opponent.
The same lineup that I used in the season. See my web page. http://protrolls.homestead.com/ZRBucks.html

any fantasy GMs out there need an advisory coach to set your offense based on your players?? I'm bored. I would need a list of your prime players and a list of available offenses if it exceeds what heath wrote. Be wary, there probably is no way of knowing how the simulator will treat motion or flex stuff against a 24-sec clock.
gee, that bored? I wouldn't mind a little input. I want my post players more involved in the offense, the closer to the basket the better, but I don't want Marbury and Houston totally phased out of the offense. Pippen- bleh. I think the inside triangle will achieve this, but I am curious as to what you would advise. Roster above
I'm happy to take advice from the cc.net play guru. My current gameplan: C-- M.Olowokandi/L.Woods/S.Swift PF- M.Taylor/S.Swift/K.Haston/(C.Robinson) SF- S.Marion/C.Robinson/(A. McKie)/K.Brown SG- G.Payton/A.McKie/K.Brown PG- M.Bibby/A.Daniels/(G.Payton) Defense - 1/2 court press Offense - Auto 06 - S.Swift - PF/C 07 - C.Robinson - SF/(PF) 08 - A.McKie - SG/(SF) 09 - A.Daniels - PG 10 - L.Woods - C 11 - K.Haston - PF 12 - K.Brown- SG/SF IR - Bell, Arenas The season stats: Olowokandi-- 10.2 pts, 8.5 reb, 1.6 blks, 31 min Taylor-- 15.5 pts, 6.1 reb, 32 min Marion-- 11.2 pts, 7.7 reb, 0.7 blks, 0.7 stls, 27 min Payton-- 23.4 pts, 5.9 reb, 9.2 asst, 1.6 stls, 36 min Bibby-- 14.4 pts, 8.6 reb, 4.1 reb, 1.4 stls, 35 min Swift-- 11 pts, 6.6 reb, 27 min Robinson-- 8.3 pts, 1.9 reb, 17.5 min McKie-- 4.6 pts, 1.8 reb, 1.6 asst, 13.5 min Daniels-- 5.5 pts, 2.7 asst, 0.8 stls, 16 min Woods-- 4 pts, 3.2 reb, 0.8 blks, 16 min Arenas-- 6 pts, 1.3 reb, 0.9 asst, 14 min Haston-- 4.8 pts, 2.4 reb, 0.9 stls, 14 min Bell-- 4.2 pts, 1.6 reb, 0.5 stls, 12 min Brown-- 5 pts, 1.5 reb, 35.6% 3 pt FG, 14 min Further info: Olowokandi is relative new to the team as he came in a late trade from the Hawks (17-65). Playing for me his pts average have gone down from 10.4 and his blocks has increased from 1.5 in about the same amount of time (he had 32). With Bibby as the starting point Payton has played starting SG all season for two seasons now - I guess the game might have given him some time at point when Bibby have been resting. For the most of the year I have been without a real starting quality center. Swift and Taylor have shared that duty. Cliff Robinson also got to start for 9 games in the middle of the season for Marion - he got around 15/6 I think when he started. From playing a lot of zone D last season (and some 3/4 trap) I have been fairly successfull with the 1/2 court press. Else I have gone Auto or 1/2 court trap. Offense have mainly been auto, although I have tried double high and ball screen. So what do you think?

You have the wrong players for inside triangle, imo, as that will get Ewing in the way of McDyess, no? You want to feature McDyess, Houston and Marbury. Picking an offense to shore up your offensive weakness at center is probably not the wisest way to run a simulation. I'd say, the Box is better than the inside triangle, since you don't feature an great center. The bad thing about the Box is it would suck with Bradley in the lineup. Depending on who plays the most at center, your feature 3 best players could all excel in these: Box (with Ewing) Sideline Triangle (with Bradley) Quick hitters (with Pollard) Note: I'm not basing this on how the game describe the plays Anyone have a link to how these simulators describe these.
OK, I just found a link to NBA Jam or something that describe their interpretations of these. They call Inside Triangle Michael Jordan's offense. Thing is, Jordan played equal amounts of Sideline triangle, if not more. The Inside Triangle should be featuring a Center. If the game doesn't do that, then ignore my comments.
I'd say your key is featuring an inside/outside SF alongside a true PF. Scratch the triangles and the 3pt shooting stuff for your squad. I'd run something that flattens the zone. Start them on the perimeter or in the high post, however you lack perimeter shooting, so be careful what you pick. Get your big men in the high post, so this will help Rahim get some freedom outside and inside. You want to make sure Rahim isn't competing with Brand for low post opportunities. This can be done by moving Sabonis away from the basket and planting him in the high post for his passing. Zipper Double High Post However, you may want to go Auto as well if your 3pt shooter is better that it looks, because you are so well balanced as long as you can shoot.
Further info: The current lineup just lost homecourt advantage after 2 games with 2 highly opposite results home in philly. Not that there is nothing new - my teams have always lost homecourt advantage - I hope they learnt last season how to get back from it. 2. Sixers-- 1 7.
