Morgan Spurlock, the star and director of "Super Size Me" and one of the country's current whistle-blowing filmmakers, is back with a second season of his documentary series "30 Days" for the FX Network. For the uninitiated, each episode follows 30 days in the life of someone living way outside their comfort zone; for instance, last season found a man with very conservative views on gays and lesbians living with a gay man in San Francisco. In tonight's premiere, Frank George of Mojave, Calif. -- a member of the controversial Minutemen group and a staunch supporter of closed, patrolled borders -- lives with a family of mixed immigration status. 30 Days 10:00 PM ET FX
I'm hispanic and I was moved during the whole thing, I thought it did an excellent job of showing the counter point to the anti immigration debate
Don't you mean anti-illegal immigration debate? I don't think anyone is against immigration. We're a country of immigrants. What makes the family's situation any worse than a family entering legally? We get the point no one comes to the US unless they have to. Should they be rewarded cause their home country borders the US? Should they be rewarded for breaking the law? I don't think open borders is the answer. I disagreed with last night's episode. I usually agree with Morgan Spurlock so I guess I didn't see agendas.
When I read he only spent 24 days in prison because he thought that was enough, that's when I knew I'd never watch this show.
