I don't have to give up my nick yet, and I plan on getting as much use out of it as possible. Besides, this is Rudy T, you never know where he'll put Griffin.

With the Rockets getting THE steal of the draft, I say that for future success Weber is a luxury, not a necessity.

I think that in one night, the Rockets pushed their rebuilding process towards contending into warp speed. In fact, I believe that adding Griffin and Morris, along with the future development of Steve and Cuttino, we only need to sign our own FA's, Mooch, MoTay and Steve and we will experience a ten to fifteen game improvement next year. I know that is a huge leap, but I think we improved that much.

It was said that this would be the most important offseason in Rockets history, and Rudy and CD stepped up and ****ing drilled the game-winner. Its not just the players that are clutch in Houston

So in conclusion : Screw Webber, if he wants to come here, great. If not, I won't care. We will be in the playoffs, and this is a team to be reckoned with.

My original statement was that I thought the Rocks should pass up Webber, resign Mo and Shandon, and use our cap space and draft picks to shore up the SF spot, center spot and our bench. Now that this draft has gone beyond my wildest dreams by getting Griffin to start at SF along with Langhi, we're in great shape. Also T-Mo allows us to have a player that can fill in at the SF AND SG spot improving our bench. I say we re-sign Mo, and then use our cap money to shore up the center spot and add some more bench help. If we can get a solid center like Marc Jackson and get some more bench help not only are we a playoff team, we're the last team you want to face in the playoffs. Hopefully Griffin fits in without a hitch!

I agree. Right now, I'd prefer not to sign Webber. We don't need an all-star team here where people are fighting over the ball, like Portland has. We got that 3rd star tonight, and he can play in the low post, rebound, do it all. And he's just 19 years old. It is truly a landmark day for this franchise.

Anyway, because of that, I don't think we should go for another superstar like Webber who will command the ball, attention, etc. Let Griffin develop. Resign Mo, Mooch, a young center, and possibly Dream, if we can do it. Griffin can compensate for Mo's weakness on the glass, and he gives us that physical threat down low. With Griffin in the fold, we're much better off going after Taylor and a center, preferably one with a lot of toughness, to use our cap room.

If we can have Francis, Mobley, Griffin, Taylor, and a young free agent center such as Mohammed or Marc Jackson we will be set for years and years to come. We got that 3rd star now, so getting Webber isn't as pressing a need. Spread the wealth around, get a couple of good role players, and let this team grow.

    What an unbelievable night.

The Cat, we're on the same page totally. I still think Dream is gone b/c of the amount of money he wants. I really don't think Dream would want to play with this young team. If so great!!! If not then sign Jackson 6'10/270 center who can REBOUND. Cato is still here and Collier. At PF resign Mo-Taylor and Eddie Griffin will learn backing him up with KT as the third player. SF T-Morris will be in there for defense and to take open shots(will make other SF's have to work harder on Defense to stay on court)resign Bull and Langhi will be the third option at SF. SG Cat is the man with possibly moving Walt to backup at the 2. Walt can ball handle and should be able to have open shots here. PG Stevie Franchise, duh.... and resign Moochie.
This is my humble opinion and will stick to it. Great Draft guys!!!!!!
