    A persistent Republican line of attack against Joe Biden, as well as
    right-wing media, had been the convenient allegation that he is not
    mentally fit     (attributable to cognitive decline) to lead the nation.

    Scranton Joe's effective leadership in curbing the spread of COVID has resonated
    w Americans. as evidenced by Scranton Joe's approval rating, steadily above 52%.

    As a point of reference, as the POTUS, Trump's approval rating was never above 46%,
    below 40% in his last days

    Recognizing that the the attack against Scranton Joe has not work, the GOP and right-wing media have opted to find new targets,

    BLM
    Critical Race Theory
    Dr. Fauci
    VP Kamala Harris

    while Putin's useful idiot was too afraid to call out the Russian dictator for the cyber attacks from Russia, following his meeting w Putin in Geneva, Switzerland on 16 Jun,
    Scranton Joe raised the issue, then said this in a follow-up press conference:

    “What happens if that ransomware outfit were sitting in Florida or Maine, and took action on Russians' single lifeline to their economy—oil? That would be devastating."

    Scranton Joe has been effective in distributing / administering COVID vaccines to Americans,

    He had set an ambitious goal of having 70% of Americans receiving vaccination by 4 July 2021.
    • some blue states, WA. CA, NY, have already exceeded that goal.
    • none of the red states has come close to it.

    Team Biden has conceded that it will achieve that 4 July goal;
    it will be a couple of weeks behind.

    “If you don’t meet the precise goal and you fall short by a few percent, that doesn’t mean
    you stop in your effort to get people vaccinated,” Fauci said. “We want to reach 70% of the
    adult population by the Fourth of July. I believe we can, I hope we will, and i
    f we don’t we’re going to continue to keep pushing.”

    This candor is a stark contrast to the trust fund baby's team (Kushner, KellyAnne Conway, Peter Navarro, Larry Kudlow)
    who muzzled Fauci and lied about COVID being a hoax, then
    • spin that COVID was contained in the midst of rising COVID deaths / hospitalization.

    I saw one of my Trump supporting friends post "How come I never hear my Biden supporting friends brag about what great things Biden has done?"
    Right there shows the different mindsets of Trump supporters and most of those who voted for Biden. For Trump if you're not talking about him it must mean that he's not doing a good job. Given how incessantly Trump bragged about himself it's understandable how his supporters view that is what a leader should do.

    The point of the Biden Presidency isn't that he needs to be bragging incessantly or that his supporters need to either. It's about returning our politics and culture to where we don't need to have the Presidency dominating our discussions and thoughts.

    I've seen this mindset too. It's pretty funny.

    On the other hand, there's almost nothing Biden has done that isn't just a repeal/reversal of a Trump policy so there's no need to broadcast it as all it would do is energize his opposition's base. Most of the things he's done that are net-new are just cultural signifiers and other nice-but-not-actual-policy things.

    The three things I would absolutely brag on Joe about, if he were to follow through on his promises, would be stimulus, the minimum wage hike, and healthcare reform/expansion. My expectations are so low I'd even be happy with simple vocal/public support on these things, but they seem to have just completely fallen off his and the DNC's radar in general.

    Right… or how about the point that the Biden presidency is that he’s there to work for us not for us to worship him as a god like the MAGA cult does with Trump. He’s the president… not our supreme leader.
