Not being a Rox fan, I have the following comments: 1. I was curious with Yao and that's why I watch the Rox games all the time, but Yao needs to be coached before he can become a threat in NBA. I dont think the Rox is preparing him well for the games. No design screen for him, often leaving him to battle in himself. He is never in position to rebound, he is often confused by the guards plays. 2. Rockets very unlikely to make the playoff. 3. S.F. needs to stop all the Xtra-dribbling. 4. Griffin should stop all the bricks he put up from the 3 point line. 5. Rice seems to be the one who look for yao everytime he catches the ball. Rice understands this game. 6. I am not a hater of anyone on this team, again I am not a ROX fan, I am jsut curious to see this Yao man. He can be effective, but he needs to be the focus on this team, even it will piss some guards off. 7. R.T. has no control of his team. 8. Some roster changes have to be done soon, trading deadline is coming. LL
1) Yao is going to have to learn how to get position himself. There are some things the Rockets can do, but in the end it's something Yao has to do. 5) I agree, he plays pretty smart.
I think sometimes Yao needs to have more confidence in himself especially against scrubs and nobodies. If you're doubled, then okay pass it out to the open men. But if you're covered by scrubs and they don't double you, take it to them every time please. Don't worry nobody will dare to call you selfish even you don't pass it out in that situation.
