Yeah, but it still wasn't as funny as Shaq-fool's miss on the opening possession. Wide open dunk as usual, and brick as usual. I know Shaq made free throws for one game of his life, but that's it. ONE GAME. He's gonna talk all his bullsh*t after the game about how good he thinks he is but one game doesn't make up for years of failures. This series is far from over, whether you guys or anyone believe it or not. Blazers in seven!!

The Blazer's winning in 7 is only like .00000000000001 more likely than the Blazers winning in 6 [IMG]. Bye, bye, Snottie Quitten, hope it is the last I see of you.

If the Pacers can win it all I am OK with that, but otherwise I would rather see LA get the ring. It is going to happen anyway so you might have to get ready to grin and bear it. At least with Shaq and Kobe winning it should further diminish that totally silly I-Max about some other retired ball-player.

What did I say? Kobe and Shaq-fool taken to school by Scottie and Rasheed. Embarrassed in their own gym!! I guess that chance of the Blazers winning is a little more likely now, huh? [IMG]

Speaking of Scottie, I had never been as proud of him as I was tonight. Not for his play on the court, although it was great. If you listened after the game, Bob Costas said something about Pippen exchanging words with Phil Jackson. Pip- that's what I've wanted you and other people to do for years now. Somebody needs to tell off that arrogant jackass. Someone needs to embarass him (like coming back from a 3-1 deficit) and make him look like the fool he is. Scottie, if you said the right things and if you can lead the Blazers to beat this arrogant Faker team, you indeed will have made me a fan of yours again. And believe me, I was as furious as anyone after Scottie made his comments about Charles. But how much I hated Scottie is about a 1/10 of how much I can't stand Phil Jackson. I will be anyone's biggest fan if they can help knock out and embarrass these overhyped arrogant fools in Phil Jackass and Shaq.

OK the Blazers chances in 7 have improved to .00001. You do a lot of talking for a team down 3-2 with both previous games on their home court ending in loses. To tell you the truth this Laker team's run reminds me a lot of the 95' Rocket team's run (e.g., WCF with SA). They play around too much, especially at home, which results in closer series than they should be, but when they need to they can turn it on.

BTW-think either the 94 or 95 Rockets team could take this years Lakers team. This years Laker team is a lot like the 95 Orlando team. Penny was a lot like Kobe then (pretty much impossible to match up with, we forget how good he was before the injuries), Shaq was Shaq (yes he is a little better now but he was the 2nd best center and toughest guy against Hakeem even then), Scott is a lot like the current (aging and slower) Rice. I guess Anderson is better than Harper, and Grant is much better than AC Green, but all of these guy are still role players. Of course Jackson gets the guys to play better D than Brian Hill got Orlando to do, but otherwise I would say they are pretty even.

Can I talk now? I can honestly say that I called it even when they were down 3-1, and Portland backed me up tonight and got to game 7 when everyone else called them dead in both games 5 and 6. Great all around game. I thought they couldn't win at home? [IMG] So much for LA turning it on. What was Shaq-fool from the line tonight, 3-10? I know LA might be favored in game 7, because it is in LA. But the Fakers have lost their last two home games, last two overall games, and have the pressure against them. Will they crack? You betcha. Blazers in seven!!

Geeze, calm down Cat. You'd think you were cheering for the Rocks but look at what you are doing here. You're cheering for Quitten. He's the same whining, forearm throwing Quitten, and your cheering for him like a Blazers fan. I hate LA too, but i would NEVER reduce myself to that level. Did anyone see Sports Genuises the other day? There was a whole category about how Scotty is a dick. There were questions about him refusing to come off the bench and about him carrying a gun. I'm glad that show has its head on straight. Anyway, Cat, it's fine to want the Blazer's to win, but dont forgive Quitten just because he told Jackson off. Why was he playing anyway? Shaw got suspended for coming off the bench, and Snotty gets a slap on the wrist for elbowing someone in the back of the head. Well, thats my little spiel; carry on.

Cat, you have really disappointed me.

How anyone can reduce themselves and be a fan of that over-hyped, melted nose looking, horses ass Scottie Pippen after what he did to OUR TEAM, the Rockets is beyond me. The guy simply gave up!! He bailed when the chips were down!!

Who cares that Jackson went from a great team to possibly another great team(note I said POSSIBLY). All he can do is sit on the sideline and hope the players follow his instructions, which the Lakers have not done for 2 games. What Punkin's comments to Jackson have to do with this I don't know. If anything Scottie should give him(and MJ) the utmost respect for helping him win 6 rings!! The only reason Scottie is acting like that is because Phil didn't trade for him this offseason...I GUARANTEE IT!!

My day will be made when LA b****slaps Scottie right out of the playoffs. It makes me feel bad for the other players because I like them, just not that *******.

Lay off the Cat. He's not acting like a jilted lover like some others on this site, he's obviously above that. No one forced the Rockets to sign Pippen, so we shouldn't feel sorry for them for Pippen acting the way he always has (look at his history). The real enemy here is the Lakers. The Cat and I understand that. Everyone else can hop on board, there's plenty of room. Join us in rooting against all that is evil. Cheers.

Listen to the Freak. If the other team was led by JR Rider and Dennis Rodman, and they were playing the Lakers for the conference crowd, I would still root against the Lakers. You don't understand how much I hate this team. If Scottie can help rid the world of the evil known as the Fakers, then I'll cheer for him to do it. Also, I love the rest of Portland's team. Wallace, Grant, Smith, Wells, Sabonis, Stoudamire, etc. are all some of my favorite players. I would really like to see them get rings, and even if that means Scottie getting one, because that shouldn't override the fact that I like the rest of the team. Like I said, BLAZERS IN SEVEN!!!

Who did the most damage to our team, the Houston Rockets?

    Is it Shaq?
    Is it Kobe?
    Is it Malone?
    Is it Rodman?
    Is it J.R.Rider?
    Or is it Snottie Pimpin?

    My answer: Snottie Pimpin.

He is a traitor, he betrayed us and he bad mouthed us, after Les awarded him a hefty $67 mil contract.

He is the single athlete I hate the most, in any sports. Period.

Therefore, I will root for whoever his (his team's) apponent is.

FREAK, you are entitled to your opinion jsut as I am entitled to mine.

Pippen deserves NO RESPECT from any Houston Rockets fan, IMO.

I'd be rooting against the Lakers IF Pippen were not a part of the Blazers organization. I'd even be pulling for the Blazers if Pippen was injured and was not playing!! I like the Blazers....I just despise Pippen.

    Have a nice vacation Pipskweak!

    Go Indiana!!

Jeez, why don't some of you grow up and quit with the name calling and stop acting like you're 10 years old. Scottie's a jerk, but referring to him as "Snottie" and other names is not only lame, but getting really old. Hell, at least call him "No. 33". Also, if you have forgotten, the Rockets have a certain franchise player that did something very very similar, yet many of you act like a bunch of hypocrits. If you can defend Francis, then lay off Pippen. It's sad day when blind hate towards one player translates into rooting for the Lakers.

    Blind hate???

Maybe you have forgotten how that particular player screwed the Rockets fans, the Rockets organization and one of his closest friends!!

Hmmm....you are complaining about name calling, but you call us that label Pippen a whiny, chump, hypocrites. Sounds like you are calling the kettle black.

I suppose the "franchise player" on the Rockets you are referring to is Francis. What Steve did in no way compares to what "Number 33" did to the the Rockets and their fans. Lets make this easy....

Pippen lied and quit and when he was confronted by one of his best friends about the "trading" situation, Scottie decided to make it personal and took cheap shots at him.

Steve didn't lie about anything. He made it clear to Vancouver that he had no interest in playing with them. They knew that if they drafted him they would have to trade him.

The Lakers organization has NOTHING to do with this. They just happened to be the team playing the Blazers. It could have been Utah and I would have pulled for them....only to lose against the Eastern Conference Champ.

    GO INDIANA!

I'll roote for Indiana, but my main hope has already happened. Snottie Quitenn shot like 30% in the deciding game and I think was sub .40 in the most defining series of his career outside serving as MJ's athletic supporter.

Also, how people can like Minnie Mouse for his punkish behavior over the years and the ultimate hot head in Sheed is beyond me (REAL cool of him to make fun of Harper's speech problems as well).

All I can say is good riddance Blazers. I like Smith & Grant well enough, and Sabanis is OK too, but until the "Three a**holes" are off that team I'll never route for them to win anything.

Hoorey, the real enemy has been defeated!!!

Cat, I told you you were doing way too much talking for team that was always playing behind or even in games. Though I'll admit it was there for there taking.

Wong, I don't think I need to give too much attention to you complaints. Take it up with Clutch if you really have an ax to grind for us describing Scottie Pippen with words more descriptive of his personal character than his given name ever could (did you see the main page of Clutchcity?)

    Pimp,

It doesn't matter how Pippen and Francis did it, they both screwed their teams. Also, just because they lifted weights together doesn't mean Pip and Barkley are best friends, and I remember someone saying that Pippen told Barkley about his plans the day before while golfing, and witnesses verified his claims. I can't remember if someone posted it hear or if it was in an article. Just because Steve didn't want to play in Canada, it doesn't justify what happened. Rookies forcing trades is NOT a good thing, although I will admit I am pretty happy with the outcome. I just think they both did equally punk ass things to their teams.

    Sir,

You're right, it isn't real cool to make fun of someone's speech impediment. However, I do think it's a little better than spitting on small children and throwing people through windows. I don't really have an ax to grind, but seeing "Quitten" everywhere gets a little old.

Sometimes I wish the Rockets would draft Swift and then have him turn around and tell the Rockets to "Go f*** themselves!" Maybe that would open some eyes.

Wong, ignoring Pippens other failures, character flaws, and scapegoating of others, not to mention refusing to enter a playoff game like a spoiled brat--there is a big difference between what Stevie did and what Pippen did. What Stevie did was diss Vancouver (I guess the city and franchise), Pippen dissed the Rockets 9and their players). This is a Rocket board ya know??

I won't even dignify the shots a Charles. He busted his a** for us, which again is why exactly what Snottie didn't do, the premise of Pippenesque comments.

I don't think we are going to stop dissing Pippen anymore than we will stop dissing Utah, if it is that old I suggest you skip topics with Pippen/Blazers in them. The rest of us are having a good time, and this is our sense of payback and what comes around goes around.
