Sony apparently held an All-Star Weekend party and gave a handful of pro-ballers customized PS3s. Pretty lame gifts if you ask me... I'd expect more from Sony. See the rest here: http://i.gizmodo.com/5155717/nba-all-stars-and-their-custom-ps3s
Scola has friends in the NBA? j/k, but during the Saturday night he was sitting there all alone, while the rest of the guys were on the other side of the court chilling. (LeBron, Wade, Paul chilling together, Shaq with his wife). Like going to a movie you really want to see all by yourself because you have no friends to go with. Clyde shoulda stepped up and sat next to him to give him some company. Where the hell was BROOKS? Maybe those two aren't good enough friends, or Brooks just blew him off. He was in a blue shirt sitting next to this woman, who I don't think he even knows. He looked pretty down for the entire event. I wonder who he interacted with. Ginobili wasn't there(to my knowledge), none of the Argentinian players were all star participants.
I remember seeing Scola on hand for All-Star Saturday Night last year. Looked to be by himself then too.
Nice pics, looks like he had some fun, but I didn't get the vibe that he was that excited in the dunk contest. Like I said, if he knew the girl he was sitting next to, it'd be different(his date?) but I think it's doubtful. She looks like she is doing work and he's sitting there alone. His face tells all, usually when ppl are having FUN they show expressions on their face. People don't look grim like Scola does(this was right after the Howard 12 ft dunk too)
If your a rich NBA player, think of getting a PS3 game instead of an actual PS3. Would you pose pictures with a PS3 game?
Well here's an analogy, the better looking a guy is, the more free sex he gets. It's how product endorsements works. Even though Luis is not an official sponsor of PS3's, Sony can boast all the stars that have their products, making their products more desirable. It's the I rub your back you rub mine kind of thing. Plus it's also sort of compensation for those stars that attended their party. Sony doesn't get anything out of giving free PS3's to common proles.
