Putting aside the classic "choke job," Scola and Landry were outstanding. They played with energy, Scola was everywhere, and Landry excited the crowd with some showtime dunks. Scolandry may be the team's best player!

The combo has been very solid this year. We just need some consistency from the rest of the squad.

They were also a combined -15 on the PLUS/MINUS. To be fair, the -15 was all Carl Landry. Scola managed to play 35 minutes without affecting the score at all. He should have stayed at home.

Scola shot 6-17 from the floor (for the laymen, thats 35%) and had 2 Turnovers to 4 assists.

They also let Troy Murphy go for 21 points.

Yao was on Murphy alot. At the very least 3 of those 21 was on Yao.

I'm sure that if for each "Best player of the Week" vote we would have a "Scolandry" option, they would win everytime.

More, but I can't recall right now.

The point is you can't say 2 people who had 30 points and 28 rebounds and make a dumb statement like one of them should stay home.

Hi, im new to the forum, been reading for a long time, but now decided to participate. I think luis and carl did a very good job and played a good game defensively (scola lost indis PF in a play that cost houston a 3 by murphy) but luis played a solid game overall, not so good offensively this time.

He brings a lot of energy and intensity to the floor, and sometimes some players lack this. Artest and luis are the engines in this aspect. Lets hope houston can close this kind of games in the future.

These two guys make less salary wise combined then McGrady or Yao and really close to even Artest. These guys are the one's that should be getting paid on this team.

Are you sure this board is for you?

I hate that I've only got to watch one game so far this year.

    LOL @ that comment keke.

I, too, have only seen one game this year (the Hornets game). It kills me that the coverage of the NBa in Australia is so non-existent. Many of the games they televise are Bucks games, just to see Bogut (who is quite average for a #1 pick).

    there is always online streaming.

Most games is broadcast on Justin TV, while you can try ATDHE, or sopcast.

Try watching the game from Malaysia, and you will know how much better the NBA coverage is in Australia compare to mine.

That's going to be quite a challenge around here. Hopefully not, as you will find.
