Scola is going to hang 50/20 on the Heat the next time we play them. He'll probably rip Bosh's head off and gorilla dunk it for emphasis.
More or less. Severely underrated. Not to mention he's an Argentine not named Ginobili. I think we'll be fine - even sans Chris Bosh.
Bosh has two things on Luis. length and youth. Scola is one of the best PF`s in the league. He hustles and is crafty in the post. I`m over Bosh.
One word... Bitter. Stop making threads like this and let's move on and stop talking about a player who isn't a rocket. We already have a million Bosh threads in here. Enough already.
All We have to get is get one more guy with length, height and athletism so we can matchup better against certain teams but overall we don't need to be trippin over Chris Bosh. Miami is not going to be a good team. Bosh needs to have help in the paint... he has none in Miami.
You forgot one thing about Scola. His work ethic. It's his work ethic that makes him so valuable to us. This proves he has a passion and commitment to win with the Rockets. It's rarely found in the NBA today. Obviously, LeBron/Wade/Bosh place priority on money/lifestyle over the quality of the team. With this mindset, don't expect them to win any championships without interference from the league 2006 NBA Finals style.
I hope the Rockets don't drag out his "RFA" tag like they did with Landry a few years ago. Give Scola and Lowry what they're worth so they dont think about going elsewhere and know that they're wanted here. I never liked the idea of giving up Scola to get Bosh in the first place... glad he's gonna be a Rocket
I'm just glad this is finally over, I'm happy to keep our team anyways. I have really high hopes for Patterson and Hill and now they will have some good teachers to help them develop their game.
If Bosh really thinks he'd be better off in Miami than he would be in Houston, then he's dumber than I thought. I would have understood Chicago. They at least have Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, but Miami has two guys on their roster right now. You're either not getting the full max, or you're doing a sign and trade that probably sends one of those guys to Toronto. Either way, I'm completely fine with keeping Scola.
This could end up as another Rashard Lewis deal. How many of you were so disappointed that Rockets did not get him at the time?
When you talk about length are you talking about bosh's neck? I mean dude has a pretty long neck.
I don't think anybody cared after they saw how much Orlando paid him. Nobody expected him to get that type of contract.
Actually if you base it on the world championships , Scola is recognized as a better player than Bosh who is mainly a scrub on Team USA. quick question: how long does it take for Chris Bosh to fix his hair daily before going out for a shooting with the video crew?
