So can the GM trade himself to another team?

He's so damned smart and writes like it, thank goodness. Would that more folks in the GARM could write as well. The only mistake I caught was writing waive instead of wave. Not bad! Also, I knew he was being bothered by the trade deadline and the possibility of being dealt, which was affecting his play, in my opinion. Maybe now he's relaxed again, because he seems to be playing much better. I just wish the rest of the team would play that way.

You never really think of it that way, but I guess coaches are "traded" when they move to another team while under contract with the current team. Usually, people just call it a coaching hire, and then give picks as a cost. You never hear Bill Parcells traded from the Patriots to the Jets, for example. Even though that's kind of what happened.

I so agree about the way he plays, he plays every game like its the final game of the season, didn't someone make a pie chart showing all the big games to him. Even though he is not officially a captain, the others need to listen to him like he is one.

So that how it was. They get off the plane and Carl waves goodbye. everyone else confused. probably couldn't say anything about the trade. sad to see him go like that.

Luis is certainly a leader. Whenever there's a scuffle on the court, he's the first to get between the players, while making it clear that he's also not going to stand by if it gets rough. You see him talking to the other players all the time. Reading that, you can tell that he was really upset about Carl leaving, even though Landry was a threat to his minutes and his starting position. A lot of players would have been bothered by that and resented their rival. Not Scola. Truly, the man exemplifies the meaning of the word professional.

Funny, how come when Scola writes a blog post no one claims that it was his publicist like whenever t-mac makes a post?

Wow. Life of a basketballer - a simple wave goodbye ... no fanfare, nothing - gone.

Also learn something new everyday. Coach and GMs can be traded huh. For real?

Sadly, I doubt it. The GARM is infectious.

Landry got text messages from people saying he got traded that had read the news. He probably didn't want to say anything until talking to Morey. Morey had called Landry after they landed the plane.
