But the I think the Suns have a nice bunch of forwards themselves. Googs, Marion, Rogers and Robinson campare very favorably to Blimp, Wallace, Davis and Pippen. What was up with Penny against Dallas Saturday? He looked like he was scared to take a shot. j ------------------
When you say "compare very favorably" it's almost an insult to the Suns. I'd rather have the Suns quartet you mentioned over the Blazers quartet any day. Wallace is about the only one worth anything in that group. Pippen was coming on finally but is old. Kemp has ballooned beyond use. It's a credit to his God-given ability that he can even produce what he does when he gets minutes at the weight he's at. Dale Davis? Whodat? ------------------ "I personally don't think Jordan would have enjoyed playing with himself." -- JeffB lets us all know that Popeye and Clutch aren't the only ones with inside sources... You might like that front court, but they don't match up at all with Portland. The Blazers big men are to big and tough for Phoenix to handle in a playoff series. Marion is probably the best SF in basketball, but Googs, Robinson, Rogers, they just don't match up with Wallace, Davis and even Kemp even though he isn't in shape. And Dale Davis is a decent scorer, and phenomenal defender and rebounder. Right now the Suns are notch below the Blazers, Lakers and Spurs. ------------------ "I have a scale at home and it only goes up so far, I love that scale!" - Charles Barkley TNT Studios
