First 1 was semi interesting with a nice reveal at the end, was like a poor mans Se7en. After that it just got worse and worse
This one is getting the best reviews since the first, so I plan on seeing it. 1 & 2 were fantastic, the rest weren't but were enjoyable.
Saw is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. Absolutely loved the first three...the last couple weren't nearly as good but I still enjoyed them. I should be seeing this one in theaters eventually.
I am a big Saw fan & I do plan on seeing this movie BUT when it comes out on DVD or maybe even on one of the movie channels. Saw V was the last straw for me. It was the some old Saw movie with a different number in front of it. I wasn't impressed what to ever. They need to ether change this franchise by trying something new or just let it die out. The only way I can see this happening is if fans like my self do not watch the movie. Producers will figure out they need a change or need to stop while they are ahead.
8 will be the last, that is what the creators have said. So you still have 2 more to look forward to.
Until there are more. Not like Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th, & Halloween have all seen rebirths multiple times.
I actually liked #5 more than 3 and 4. But why would they stop making them? They make a ton of money in the box office. This one did not make as much as the others, but the rest of them have made over 30 mil in their opening weeks I hear the next one will be in 3D
