Just missed aaron rodgers at lids as well according to the employees. First of all, my wife and I noticed this tall dude w/ a green bay back pack and he was wearing a shirt with no sleeves. Really cut. We were waiting to get on an elevator along with him and his brother. I had a Texans shirt on and when he saw me he walked away. After doing a double take I realized who it was. He's listed at 6 ft but he looked much taller! As for aaron rodgers, after going down to the first level and walking into lids the employees were talking about him just leaving. He was with two older gentlemen and the employees had no idea who he was so it seemed. So one of the guys with Rodgers stated, "don't you know who he is? He's the starting QB for the Green Bay Packers!" One of the employees quipped Brett Favre? I about laughed when he told me the story..... Anyways I was just wondering why Green bay Packers are in Houston? I know they don't have a scrimmage....Do a lot of athletes love living in Houston?
Not sure if it's just a coincidence, but I saw Aaron Rodgers at the Galleria a few years ago, and I think it was around this same time of year. I saw him he was walking in from the parking garage right in front of me, my mom, and one of my sisters. He opened the door and held it for us, and gave us a nod and smile as we passed through. Seemed nice enough for a "celebrity", but might have just been trying to impress the girl he was with Nobody paid him any attention back then though. I didn't even realize it was him right away.
Rodgers is good friends with a family that I'm close with. He was in town for a golf tournament this weekend.
Man Donald Driver is great player and person too. He had the pool tournament charity here last year and he signed my packers hat. I love the packers as my 2nd favorite team and of course the texans are number 1. Packers > Favre (even though he's favorite player).
Off topic-the photo of Maliah Michel in the bottom right corner of the front page is just so wicked. That is one baaad lady.
I think he is in town for some tournament he or the packers are sponsoring at slick willies pool hall in greenway plaza area. just walked by it last week and saw a sign about it.
Donald Driver had his annual golf tournament this weekend. It was at Siena Plantation. I think it was the 6th annual... Aaron Rodgers was there along with Driver and others. Spud Webb was there too
