I have been on a sardine kick lately. Good source of protein, and a healthy snack during the day. I know alot of people get grossed out at the thought of Sardines. BBS Opinion? Yay or Nay?

I have always wanted to try them but something about them just doesn't sit right with me. I have friends that love them but I just don't know.

Honestly, what do they taste like. (Don't tell me chicken! :D ;) )

The larger question is how you like your sardines?

I like the ones served in mustard, followed by oil. I'm not that fond of the ones in tomato sauce.

I don't know should be an option.

You eat the whole little fishy? The head and everything? What about the bones?

They come deboned without the head or tail.

They are delicious. They come in different flavors as well. I love fish though, alot of people dont, so it has that fishy taste.

OK, fishy taste but different fish have different taste. Catfish doesn't taste like salmon and salmon doesn't taste like tuna and tuna doesn't taste like catfish. Is there another type of fish taste it resembles?

I'd have them for lunch every other day if I didn't work with a bunch of women with sensitive noses.

For people asking what they taste like, it has a unique flavor. Do yourself a favor and buy a can the next time you're at the store. Worst case scenario is that you're out a buck.

I don't eat anything that spends a majority of it's life in water.
