So this past weekend, I voluntarily saw Sex and the City movie with my wife. As a dude, I figured, why not? (hanging head in shame The HBO series was pretty funny. And truth be told, the movie was actually very entertaining. But one thing I couldn't get over was how UGLY SJP was. Did she always look this bad? Or did she just age really badly? So I go online to read reviews of the movie, and I guess I'm not alone. Yeah it's superficial, but I'd just cringe everytime she'd come on TV - which was like ALL the time!!! The movie could've well been the "HEY! LOOK AT ME! I'm SJP!!!" show. theSAGE
I guess I'm one of the few that think that she is pretty. I just question her morals. She said she would never do nude scenes out of respect to Bueller. pssh.
Oh I forgot to add... So what SUPREMELY PUZZLES ME IS WHY ADVERTISERS persist to use her as a model for commercials??? like the GAP back when and more recently garnier??? Do women really think she's actually good lookin'? Cause I think most guys would beg to differ. theSAGE
Ummm, might I redirect this thread to the far more important facet of this story: SageHare6 admits to enjoying "Sex and the City". Turn in your man-card, Nancy.
My wife thinks SJP is attractive and my mother in law thinks she's beautiful. I lol during this debate.
Oh man. FattyFatBastard, the BBS icon of manliness watched Sex and the City? Our resident womanizing, hard drinking, hot-headed party animal has succumbed to watching the Lifetime Network while eating vanilla ice cream and sucking on cold chardonnay? For shame, Fatty. For shame. Next, you'll post late one night about how you don't understand how Robert Redford's movie's are so strangely unpopular, and proclaim wine coolers to be the best drink ever concocted. On that day I'll die a little inside, Fatty.
she has not aged well but really, she has never been that attractive. And i fond her character on sex and the city to get more and more annoying. I haven't seen the movie though, but i'd imagine its more of the same
