Wow, I can't believe you brought this up...I was thinking about starting a thread on the same topic! I love Sanders on that show. I can't stand Irvin. His screaming over the highlights from the background while the lead is doing the commentating drives me nuts. I fully expect him to be delivering his commentary while standing on his head next week. But Sanders does a great job of trying to be objective...and still making it fun. Mariucci is a nice addition with a coach's perspective, as well.
Much love to Deion for recognizing Phillips big day and putting him numbah 2 on primtime. Gates was 6 too.
Deion putting Foster #1 was nice. I like Sander's takes more the Irvin but they both have good chemistry with Steve Mariucci, it works so much BETTER then the other shows.
are you talking about Gameday Final? is great, too bad Rich Eisen is not there this year, Deion, Mariucci, and Eisen make a real nice team.
This isn't laughable or really a shot in the dark at all. NFC east is average at best if not one of the worst divisions in the league this year, any other season and this would be true.
did you read the word, "CLEARLY" in my post? the cowboys aren't "clearly" the best team anywhere...i'm not sure they're clearly the best team in the Metroplex.
I really don't think the 'skins or Eagles are horrible. And I think the Giants defense is good enough to keep them in most games.
I just hope they're CLEARLY the best team this Sunday. Any team that plays the t*** automatically becomes my 2nd favorite team for the week. Yes, even the Cowboys.
Record-wise, the NFC East has the second-worst division in the league (NFC West coming in at dead last - of course). They've only played two division games so far (tied for fewest with the AFC South), so it's not like they're beating each other up. I think a lot of people are just assuming they'll get their act together because of their history, but they just don't look that good to me.
