I got myself a pretty cool job in Kyle, Texas just outside of San Marcos. I'm not sure if I should move to South Austin or San Marcos and was curious if there were any opinions out there. I am looking for a decent apartment until I can find a place to buy. Any advice on where to (or not to) live would be most appreciated.
Move to South Austin. The drive will be nothing since you'd be going opposite of traffic. There's a ton of new apartments down there. Living in San Marcos is ok. The bars close at 12. Can't complain about the co-eds. You'll just have a few more options if you choose S. Austin.
not yet. I want to make sure I like what I'll be doing and take my time in regards to finding what area I want to be for a while.
I have traveled to many places in the state of Texas, in the USA, and a few other countries around the world. I have never found a larger concentration of amazingly beautiful young ladies than in San Marcos, Texas.
I thought about that - and I'm not sure how much bar hopping I'll do. The plan is to not go out much unless I am playing, but I've said that before. The bars closing at 12:00 might be a good thing for me though.
...but you're gonna be far from the toybox. How are you gonna come support the team during home games?
Go for South Austin. There's so much available down there, it's crazy. It's almost like it's a world of its own.
i'll be in both towns this weekend.... haven't really been back in san marcos in probably 1.5 years, but i cannot wait to see the eye candy, and then have sex with said eye candy. the girls there are amazing and willing. god bless those bobcat girls.
can't go wrong with san marcos, drive to kyle is a cake. made it for 6 months while doing my student teaching at hays hs. as far as the surrounding eye candy, can't be topped as swtsig pointed out. by the way swtsig, did you graduate from the big school on the hill? if so, how long ago?
also headed to both towns this wknd...haven't been around in a couple months since i graduated. hittin the square friday night and downtown 6th on saturday, don't know if i can handle that lifestyle anymore but we're about to find out haha.
