My friend and I had a argument over this. Say you had the first overall pick, and needed to get a QB. Who would you guys draft and why? I believe Sam Bradford will be a much better and MATURE QB in the league if he is put in the right system.

I think both will be very good QBs in the NFL. I think the Redskins will draft Bradford and Bills will draft Clausen. I would give the edge to Bradford just cause of his size and he is a natural leader.
difficult, both are NFL ready QB's. I hadn't seen Clausen play much but I know Bradford's got the size, accuracy, and an underrated arm. I think Bradford will eventually become a better QB in the future.
I would take Clausen and his 28 tds and 4 picks. The kid makes good decisions when the heat is on. The only thing Bradford has shown is that he is great playing touch football.
Clausen made more out of having a terrible team surrounding him than Bradford made out of having an amazing team surrounding him.... advantage Clausen, IMHO.
in that regard, Bradford's Heisman felt marginally more like a team award than other recent Heisman awards have...
Dude had 50 touchdowns & 4700 + passing yards. Was a lock to be the number 1 pick before the shoulder injury. It was also a shoulder injury that dropped AD to the six spot.
Not a big fan of either but I would have to go with Clausen. Bradford's injuries are a concern and Clausen has already played in a pro-style offense. Clausen also put up some very good numbers.
I hear ya and like moe, I think neither one is going to be that good in the pros but I would take Bradford.
