    Are you kidding me? He's done just about nothing during his tenure as coach of this team, maximized nobody, and is on course for a 3-win season. And he thinks that should equal a promotion? WTF? I guess Aaron Brooks should demand a multiyear extension for being a joke, too.

    All the frustration he's been through with that franchise, and figuring he's getting fired, he may as well bow up.

    Yea, when I saw this, I busted out laughing. The balls this guy has is something. In his defense, he is coaching one of the worst run franchises in all of sports. Maybe some day Saints fans will get lucky and the team will be sold and be no longer owned by the awful Tom Benson.

    i don't blame him for asking. the future of this franchise is so uncertain, that i'd want that kind of deal, too. you're asking a guy to move with this franchise, whereever it's going, from year to year. i'd want a commitment, too.
