two of his brothers have now died by gunshot...extremely sad. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-knicks-richardson&prov=ap&type=lgns CHICAGO (AP) -- Three suspects were in police custody Wednesday in the shooting death of the brother of New York Knicks guard Quentin Richardson. Lee Richardson, Jr., 31, was shot outside the family's Chicago home Monday during a robbery, police said. His father, Lee Richardson, Sr., 62, was with him at the time but was not injured, family members said. This was the second time a Richardson brother was fatally shot. When Quentin Richardson was 12, his 23-year-old brother Bernard was killed on the city's South Side. The case remains unsolved, his family said. The Knicks said Quentin Richardson, 25, left the team Monday, but would not say why. Knicks spokesman Jonathan Supranowitz said it is uncertain when Richardson will return. A message left Wednesday with the Knicks was not immediately returned. Lee Richardson Jr. and his father were outside the house Monday afternoon when a van pulled up and three men jumped out. The men ordered the Richardsons to lie down before robbing them, Quentin and his sister, Rochelle Richardson, told the Chicago Sun-Times in Wednesday's editions. Lee Richardson, Jr., a Chicago music producer, fought back and was shot four times, Rochelle said. Three men were arrested on Monday and charges had not yet been filed Wednesday morning, Chicago police spokesman Hector Alfaro said. Quentin Richardson is in his first season with the Knicks after playing last season in Phoenix. He's averaging 6.9 points in 14 games.
Where does it say the were in the hood? The reference to his other brother makes it sound like they no longer live there.
some of these guys' parents probably wouldn't accept a house from their children. its apparent Q's father owns his own house. and it doesn't say anything about the neighborhood. his first brother wasn't even shot at their home.
How do we know it's 'da hood'? Moreover, there are alot of folks who don't want to leave a home they've lived most of their lives in. I don't know if that's the case here, but it could be. Heck, I've been trying to get my grandparents to move out of their neighborhood for years, but they're not hearing any of that. To them, that's "their" neighborhood. I hate to see anyone lose a loved one. The family's in my prayers.
Who says a wack job from Da Hood can't drive into a good hood and off your butt on your nice green lawn? I remeber a couple of wack jobs came into this country from half way around the world and crashed a couple of jumbo jets into some tall buildings in NY not to long ago.
