The Magic are no match against the veteran Fakers.

Dwight Howard is not enough to bang against Bynum, Gasol and Odom.

Is Gortag (however you spell it) the only other big body on the Magic??

Plus they are NBA Finals rookies and will show no poise and choke under the limelight.

Lebron was the ONLY chance the Fakers would have lost the Finals because the NBA would love to christen Lebron the new MJ by taking down the mighty Fakers. But alas... it was not meant to be

Denver showed some promise... but their lack of basketball IQ and poise will prove to be their downfall... what a huge collection of knuckleheads and Karl is a terrible coach.

The Celtics match up best with the Fakers... experience, IQ, height and physicality... too bad KG had to go out.

SIGH... i hate to say it... but Fakers world champs 2009...

I hope Kobe the Rapist breaks a knee

yeah... i know... but regular season really does not mean a thing...

it is very impressive that the magic beat the full-strength fakers... but i doubt they can pull it off in the Finals

I didn't think the magic had any chance vs. the Cavs either, anyway both series could still swing either way.

    Magic Swept them

But ur argument for the Lakers being tough is laughable

Dwight Howard eats Bynum and Gasol for Dinner

    Howard completely owns them

However the absence of a quick/fast PG in Nelson hurts them.

    Sadly, I agree.

Aside from slowing down Kobe Bryant, the key will be the forward positions. Turkoglu is proving to be a matchup nightmare for the Cavs power forwards, but the Lakers will pose a much bigger challenge IMO.

I wouldn't underestimate the Magic. Even though post season games are different from regular season ones, the Magic do have some big men in Howard, Lewis, Gortat, and Battie.

Lakers won't be champs. Lebron is about to close this game out at home, go back to Orlando and win a tough one there and then pwn the Magic at home in Game 7. Cleveland is still the favorite to win the title IMO.

Mo Williams would have a field day against LA. I agree if Cleveland loses, LA will have it pretty easy. Oh, but at least it won't be a Lebron/Bryant Finals  . francis4prez will be happy at least.

    u guys make me laugh...

imo orlando is more talented then LA...suree LA has more experience, but orlando has been in a bunch of close games and they can play under pressure....rashard and hedo are very clutch shooters when it comes down to the wire...LA would be favored, but i wouldn't underestimate orlando...

but i could careless about that right now...i just want the magic to close out game 6 with the cavs

If Orlando finishes off Cleveland, I think that they can play with LA. Howard will get Bynum into early foul trouble, so it will be Gasol at center with Odom at the 4, which is a better matchup for Rashard Lewis. Orlando has also played a lot harder and more consistantly than LA has played. I think either team could win.

Also, LA hasn't won anything yet. I still think the Nuggets have a good shot of winning the series if the refs don't screw them

Lakers don't want it with the Magic

That Matchup/1-2-2 zone they play is NOT gonna fly vs a team that is incredibly efficient from 3.

Lakers INVITE you to take 3s. I don't know if he actually means it, but Jameer says he's coming back for the finals. I doubt it, but still.

    Matchups are an issue too...

Eventually the Laker coaching staff would have to either change the starting lineup, or suffer with Gasol having to go out @ Lewis.

They would have no answer for Howard, and unfortunately for LA...they couldn't use the option of help defending, because EVERY SINGLE Orlando player outside of mr. Howard is a knockdown shooter.

    Magic in 6.

OP, you are correct, Bynum and his 4point3rebound/game stats are far and away going to do Dwight Howard in.

Give me a break, Bynum will foul out of every game by halftime and Pau will be running around yelling, "Im a softy, can someone go get my brother for me" the rest of the game.

    Fisher=Rafer
    Kobe>Lee/Pietrus
    Ariza<Hedu
    Odem<<Rashard
    Bynum/Gasol<<<<Howard.

And just like in every other series the Lakers have had, the opposing teams bench will far out-do their own.

Walton, Vulacic, Farmar, Brown, Mbenga, Powell is a joke of a bench team.

    Delusional much?

Orlando will most likely beat up Cleveland in game 6... LeBron would have to score 40 along with a couple of other cavaliers scoring 20 for them to even have a chance to win in Orlando IMO. LeBron alone won't win CRAP in Orlando.... I don't see anyone on the Cavs other than LeBron getting 20 thus they lose. Also, I don't see Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis, or Hedo Turkoglu letting this game get away, they've earned it... I doubt they let it go.
