It seems like everyone in the media is excusing Sacramento's weak start to the China Trip and their early tough schedule. Up until now, I don't think it's been any tougher than the Rocket's schedule.

Both teams went to China, the Rockets had 4 games in 5 days, with 3 of them on the road. The Kings had 4 games in 8 days, with 3 of them on the road. Granted, the The Kings start another 2 day road trip today, but that shouldn't affect this past week. Why do the Kings get their schedule as an excuse when the Rockets don't and have been doing ok?

well we have been winning so it means we dont need an excuse.

I've heard it mentioned that Sac and us have the hardest opening schedules.

The TX triangle is a bit rougher than Det-Tor-Mem
Even if Detroit kicks it off.

They started the season playing the Texas triangle. There is nothing harder than that unless you have to play the Wolves, SA, and the Heat on the road in the same week.

Good point about the Texas triangle. Still, we played the defending champs, a 50+ win team and the Raptors, who had a good start and beat the Pistons. Plus, I haven't heard the media mention the TX triangle, just the fact that they went to China and had road trips to start the season.

Yet, when we were 0-2, everyone was saying that Yao and McGrady haven't meshed yet, or they made comparisons to the Orlando team who were 2-0 at the time etc. No mention of our tough schedule. Donno what my point is, I guess I'm just tired of the lack of love the Rockets get from the media.
