I was wondering what everyone thought of their play vs. Utah, and if they thought it was a deliberate tank job out of fear of the Mavs or preference of playing the Sonics.

I think it was, personally, and think that they will get what they wished for, except that it will end in their elimination. Poetic justice. One can only hope.

Here's to JVG and the team's improvement, momentum, and huevos. *raises a glass*

ummm, I quite doubt that. Sacro was horrible against Seatle. They got wipped in Seatle by 30 points. On the other hand they played Dallas pretty much every year and many times without Webber. Plus they could slide to 7th, so don't think they tanked it on purpose.

Queens are always soft by nature. They're lucky they traded the Queen of Hearts for Cat.

Seattle is one thing, Utah is another. Then there is timing....are you talking about their loss back on Nov. 10th? The last they played Seattle was april 5th, and they beat them 122-101. Before that was Feb 10 and they lost by 8 to seattle.... before that..Feb 1st and they lost by only 5. So granted, they didn't fare well against Seattle during the year, but they were hot right until cooling off put them in the 6 against utah to face seattle instead of Dallas, whom with they did not fare any better.

Well, I asked, I guess... just seemed to me that they tanked utah to draw Seattle when the opportunity presented itself... and I think they'll get they're just deserts for handling it that way. Just my two cents.

I'll go on the record now by saying Seattle wins in 5. Yeah.... you heard me.

I'm already on record as saying the Sonics will easily handle the Kings. 4-1 is about right. The Sonics deserve more respect than people are giving them. If they survive long enough for Radmanovich to come back and be a factor, they could be trouble. Problem is, the Spurs will take 'em out in round 2.

I really don't think they were tanking. They were never exactly rolling, and have been dealing with the reshaping of their roster coupled with key injuries (Peja, Brad Miller, Jackson).

I really like the Kings. Even if they did tank to draw the Sonics, I still hope they win. I liked them before, and now they've gotten rid of Webber and added KT and Cat. I'll probably be rooting for them over everyone besides the Rockets.
