Well, I'm from Sacramento, so I have to post something, don't I? I'd really just like to say one thing... check the box scores for the Finals, and you'll see that the two games in Connecticut drew about 8,000 fans apiece, while both games in Sacramento drew 14,000-15,000. ARCO only seats 17,000 in the first place! No one can say the Sacramento fans didn't deserve this one.
Unfortunately this is true. I was in college when the Comets were winning 4 in a row. One day the fellas (some Cowboy fans, Laker fans, Bulls fans) and I were discussing our cities dominance in sports. I mentioned the Comets 4 peat and I don't think folks have ever laughed so much at me....
I'd tell my friends but i wouldn't want to suffer the backlash. They may have actually sold some seats, but i bet the ratings were out of the roof!
