Pretty impressive shot. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="1280" height="750" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yMf-20vzIoA?hd=1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
That was just an awesome shot. He was guarded well, and got defensive help. He hit it over two hawks.
that's why it's always important to have a high release. stephen jackson is 6'8, almost impossible to block his shot. still that was great defense though.
awesome shot vs. a damn good defense, couldn't ask for any better defense from the Hawks whats worse, losing while playing great defense like the Hawks, or losing to a less than probable shot ala Roy's buzzer beater vs. us?
Roy's buzzerbeater is definitely worst. I don't think that should have even counted since he caught it turned and shot within .8 seconds. S-Jax's shot was complete skill over all the Hawks could possibly do.
The Hawks are a disaster. Shouldn't even have come down to this. They really melted down and blew the game. Anyway, when Jack got the ball, the only thing on my mind was, "he's not doing anything to get open and will blow it". Seemed like the sequence took forever. Then the shot went in and Edweirdo Najera (not Cap'n Jack who hit the shot) jumps on the scorers table on the road. LOL!
Captain Jack is my favorite player outside of the Rockets. Brings it every night. Even when he was disgruntled in Golden State, he still played his ass off. He and Scola would do well together.
Jackson looked like he got fouled on that shot too. Either way, this is nothing new for Captain Jax. He's been clutch for most of his career.
