I've been waiting for someone to start this thread. I've read different rumors about what's going on and the only safe thing to say is he won't play football for LSU again. He's cleaned out his locker and this marriage has ended. This guy isn't worth the trouble and LSU is better off getting this over with now. I do feel sorry for him that his father just died.
A_3PO, what rumors have you read? I can't find anything other than missing some classes and that his father died recently. Some caller on 1560 last week Friday to imply that he had some kind of drug problem. But she was an admitted Horn, so she probably has a natural bias against RP.
So many rumors floating around on this one. -among them is the fact that Ryan won't attened classes and skipped voluntery workouts. He's upset he's not the man on the team. - Ryan seems to have aquired a taste for Bolivian Marching Powder. Les has threatened to kick him off the team permenatly. Ryan has threatened to expose LSU and it's dirty recruiting pracitces if he is kicked off. - Among some of the items Ryan will sing about is a scheme that keeps LSU players well funded via a "special tables" at casinos where players are sure to win. The whole team is highly encouraged to participate or viewed as a snitch if not. - Ryan's daddy pasted away These are just some of the rumors floating around. Either way it couldn't have happened to a nicer swamp rat POS.
Really? After the gambling, Fake IDs, and failing to deliver on his promise of 4 Heismans this is finally going to seal the deal? Thats crazy. I have been looking forward to watching Perriloux play for what seems like forever.
Same here, I only first heard it yesterday. I had no idea he cleaned out his lockers, from what I read it seemed like he still had a chance of rejoining the team later in the season...guess not. I am very interested to see what the hell he's involved with. BTW, did Perrilloux get busted last year for some off-field situation? Is my memory shot (well, I know it is), or am I imagining things. As a Gator alumn I don't want to see us gain any advantages over our SEC counterparts like this...but hey if Perrilloux gets what he deserves, so be it.
I heard yesterday, I forgot which station, somebody called in, a highschool football coach or something, that he got to visit their facilities and in plain daylight there ware some posted warnings to players who were messing up and Perrilloux was called out for missing team meetings.

This is a topic I can actually provide some inside information on. My roomate is a sports agent/ex LSU player and quite a few of my friends here are either current or forme palyers. The posts so far about class are accurate, word from SP is that Miles made it very clear to Ryan after the incident at the Varsity he was not to get into anymore trouble of any kind and that was his last straw. He was skipping class again which he actualy first got into trouble with durring a spring intersession class I was in. It was a 2 week class and he did not show up for the first week then skipped the final. Anyway after this it is believed he will be reinstated either a the end of SP or just after it. Miles wanted to hold the press confrence to make Ryans problems public so he may get embarrased enough to clean his act up. This is either going to work or Ryan will quit. We'll see.

I should rephrase that and say I wouldn't wish this situation on players, but if it happens I won't lose any sleep. And I was all for kicking out Marcus Thomas (our stud defensive tackle) during our championship year. At the time it seemed like a big loss, especially since everyone thought the gap between us and OSU was huge. I hate reading about Gators making the news for the wrong reasons. Even if they are stars I'd rather see them kicked off the team instead of tarnishing my school.
