Drafted by Nets, how did he get to Orlando?

What is his game, like from what you have seen personally?

I think he was shipped to Orlando in the Vince Carter trade.

He's basically a shooting big-man. Nice shot that extends to 3-point range.

Went as part of the Vince Carter trade for Courtney Lee. He is a good floor spacing 4,with a reliable outside shot. He isn't particularly athletic, but he is no Steve Novak. A good option, off the bench.

Came across in the VC deal.

Looks a good prospect, Magic are stockpiling talent, good luck to them.

There are some people out there who think Anderson has a higher ceiling than Lee. Which would be crazy.

As weird as this sound, I think he might be a better option at power forward than Rashard Lewis cannot be counted on to guard bigger power forwards and centers. Anderson does give them a little more size and with effort he could improve on defense and rebounding, but he plays on team where he won't necessarily have to do to often...given that they have the league's ultimate rebounder and #1 Center (there I said, now certain posters can't accuse me of being a fervent Yao-lover anymore).

Well for a 3 point specialist who spends a lot of time away from the basket, Anderson already rebounds the ball pretty well for a young guy. He's a nice role player, definitely great value for a throw in. It would be nice if he could get a little tougher but it's nice to see offensive role players who find other ways to contribute.

What if the Nets offered Carter for Alston and Artest. Rockets countered with T-Mac.

    It all makes sense now.

I've played with Anderson before cause he went to Cal (Berkeley) for college. Very good shooter, he'd hit at least 70-80% of his shots during pick ups (half of them fadeaway threes and random heaves 10 feet from beyond the arc). Also a pretty nice guy and hard worker. Obviously this information isn't really important, but just wanted to let you know hahaha

He sounds like a poor man's Troy Murphy. That's pretty decent.

Too bad he'll be on the bench most of the time. Remember the Gundy's don't like to play guys that play no defense. He'll get spot mins., but not enough to help you in your fantasy league.
