I would not be surprised if this is the kind of **** Russia pulls all of the time. But now, the intelligence community is leaking it to the press, since Trump has declared war against them.

I'm sorry but of all our legit complaints, I don't think this is one of them.

Russians do crap like this all the time, as I understand it. Even during our early space program, they (legally) put what were supposedly fishing trawlers right near the Cape, bristling with all sorts of antennae, and NASA was seriously worried that the Russians were trying to screw around with our launches to make them fail.

 

Can he fire everyone from CIA NSA FBI, etc and put his people?

 

What could go wrong?

 

Sanctions that are in part crippling the Russian economy?

You know... The ones that the Trump administration wanted to remove before they were in office hence Logan Act.

Do you think that every foreign policy issue is handled with things exploding?

Why do that when we can hit the reset button?

 

The Russians had their chance with the reset button. They in turn started invading their neighbors and started blaming the U.S. for their problems. They were offered an opportunity and squandered it. Thus the sanctions wrecked their economy, and they are suffering because of them. As long as we keep the pressure on them we have a strong hand at future negotiations.

 

So do a bunch of agro fascist "I want all ethnic Russians to be under my rule" bullshit for years and wait for a new administration to do a 'reset'. Seems like a winning formula for Putin to keep on doing his thing with impunity.

 

This ship made this trip the last couple of years, so it isn't unique to Trump. Might be docked for longer than previous times. But those missed deployments, treaty violations, increased military aggression in Ukraine, those are bigger deals.

Trump has gotta get his act together or he won't have the political capital to get the GOP to go along with lifting all the sanctions.... 19.5% might be on the line.
