http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jM4PSLd6T3WUPzs9cBrGLgcfYewgD92M9E5G4 The sides are drawing up the lines... rules of engagement to follow... This all shortly after US and Poland sign missle defense treaty, and the UN tells Russia to back off of Georgia...
Well, at least we know who the bad guys will be in future Bond films. Life was easy like that during the Cold War.
It was never really over... and furthermore, Indy just fought the Russians in this past flick again... Lucas and Spielberg have great timing. I just wish it was only that frivolous. This is serious bidness.
Considering that Russia was never a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization one is hard pressed to comprehend the thread title.
Russia just wants part of Georgia....and is rattling it's cage.....still don't know why we could not have held off on the Polish deal until Georgia was settled. More Bush lunacy, and lack of diplomacy. DD
Also, Russia is a good ally in the war against Islamnic militants, they are important in that regard. DD
Some people are just buttholes. Read the article. They were "in" NATO as far military cooperation went. Since 2002...
And some people just aren't very good at not embarrassing themselves. Russia never was a member of ("in") the North Atlantic Treaty Organization - accordingly it is possible for them to exit such organization (be "out") to the extent they already are not.
"in" = in cooperation with "out" = not in cooperation with Those are relatively easily understood literary devices... as in, "Are you in or out?" If I denounce ties with CF.net, I'm out... But I would not have to be a "member" to be "in" - anyone can cooperate with the site... reading, lurking, browsing... Thread title = got you in here Did you read the article, or merely seek to lambaste a political "enemy." BTW- What state do you live in? If Texas, then your vote will not matter. Have a nice day. /thread
^IROC it - please start another thread when the US is "out of the Warsaw Pact" - I require your trenchant analysis on this critical foreign policy issue. Many thanks to you in advance of your fulfillment of this request.
