I have an extra pair of lawn tickets to Rush at the Woodlands Pavillion on Saturday. I'll sell them for face value no service charges. Anyone interested? And who else is going? Moving Pictures in its entirety!
I know CrazyDave and his wife are going and if I wasn't helping my wife watch their kids I'd be all over this but as it is she'd kill me. Have fun it's going to be a great show.
I'm going. I'll be the one on the lawn trying to air-drum with a beer in my hand! Wait, I think I just described half the crowd...
saw them last night in san antonio. great show, the show lasted about 3 hours. Definitely worth checking out, grab these tix
"Slappin' da bass, man"? Spoiler <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YOckQm-TpWk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YOckQm-TpWk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> That's all I've got... to say about that.
Unfortunately, the prices are a bit ridiculous 46 bucks for lawn seats(last 4 shows I went to at the Woodlands were around 20-25 bucks for lawn), I wish I could afford to go....Seeing them do the entire Moving Pictures album live is a can't miss that I will end up missing.
I hear ya, and that sucks, but you have to admit, if the show is anywhere near three hours as updawg stated, that's good bang for your rush buck.
Well, Jeff said he'd sell them at "face value".. hoefully, that means $35 a seat (not including the $12 extra fee)
Hey, me too! Left right after the drum solo to beat traffic back home, was a great show! CAMERA FRICKIN' EYE!!!!!!!! And I have to say seeing 4, 4!! Spurs NBA title banners in the rafters made this Rox fan a weeeeeee bit jealous!!
I don't think that's too bad. As much as I hate CWMP, general admission tickets are cheaper than they would be at the Toyota Center. I paid $90/ticket for the top row of the Police concert a few years ago. That being said, my buddies I was going to go with all backed out, so my wife was like "you want me to go so you don't have to go by yourself?" I was like "uh.....well, Rush is kind of a guy-band. So....no." It felt like a scene from I Love You Man. Luckily, I was able to find some friends who are going to meet up with me once I get there.
That is exactly what it means. Drop me an email - I've been out all morning or I'd have responded sooner. jbalke@tworoadsmedia.com We'll set it up.
