    All the cellar-dwellars were active today. Dont really know what to make of this deal...Rondo is a good player but will he be just as effective in Memphis as he was in Boston is the question? Rudy Gay on Boston could be scary

    I'm calling BS, if Boston is going to trade Rondo, they obviously want to win now and that is NOT happening with inexperienced players like Gay and Conley. Rip and Stuckey is more believable

    i dont think so actually


    boston is trying to win now and prepare for the future without pierce and garnett who are the two main pieces.

    look a 2nd year rondo with his issues help the team win a ring so its not like they need a vet at the PG spot.

    conley could be another good to great PG they would need...conley hasnt played great so far but it wasnt like he has no talent, he was a #4 or #3 pick after all. I think having pierce, garnett and (possibly) allen there to help him during the season will mature conley quickly.

    Having Gay thrown in makes them even more athletic and they would actually have a bench scorer for once that could drop like 20 points every night in a variety of ways.


    rondo's stock is super high right now if this deal goes through its a STEAL for Boston

    Don't worry, if this trade happens NBA fans in every NBA city except LA and Boston will join together to buy the Griz and send them to Seattle.

    That's utter garbage. The Grizzlies are capable of anything, but there is no way this is true. If I were one of the 9 Grizzly fans left on earth, I would be rioting in the street if they made this trade.

    I see what you are saying but Rondo did not need to be a spectacular player when Ray Allen, KG and Paul Pierce were all gunning for the title + Healthy. Look what happened this yr, KG goes down and even though Rondo is giving you a triple double in the playoffs, they come up short. This would be moot point if KG were much younger/had much less mileage.

    If they make this move, i don't think they are winning another title with the big three. This move would be a sign that they will start disassembling their core and replace them with young blood.

    Plus, what actually says Conley is/will be a better PG than Rondo??? I am baffled by all the hype he gets.

    The Grizz are PITIFUL is they make this deal. What qualifications does GM Wallace have if this goes down? He will be beyond atrocious if this trade is legit.

    i dont think conley will be, but i still think conley has the talent to be a legit starting PG in the nba

    when you factor in Gay as well then the trade does make sense for boston, actually a steal for boston imo
