an Oklahoman senator told my friends girlfriends sister's uncle that he read in the bible that it used to read before it was edited in the 1500's that we might trade for Kobe Bryant.

Strange idea but definitely satisfies Cuban's "Swing for the fences, fail, then try again" philosophy. Dallas would have one of the ugliest payrolls in the league but would be absolutely LOADED in terms of talent.

I don't see how anybody would even think about trading for Michael Redd until he gets back on the court and shows something.

That's what I was thinking as well. Very similar story, almost identical.

Damn! IF there is any truth to this, it would REALLY suck being a Houston fan because Dallas will be kicking our butts for at least the next couple of years or more. Almost makes you wish we were in Dallas' position right now with the moves they have made and are still trying to make. I envy Dallas fans for having Mark Cuban as their owner.

You've got to be kidding me?

That's even worse than the Gasol deal.

If this goes through it might be one of the biggest steals in recent NBA history.

Micheal Redd is proven scorer and when healthy is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.

this is a semi serious post I'm going to be making:

 this is out of control, the trading for expiring contracts. I hope the commissar will put an end to this.*

* only after morey steals a couple of players.

Even with a healthy yao and Tmac this team has no chance will all the moves other teams made.

Dirk
Marion
Howard
redd
kidd
terry

and maybe gortat.

That is a stacked team.

5 guys have been all star and a you have a 6th man of the year.

What is Jason Terry supposed to do if Redd is going to be the Gunner?

If that trade goes through, then Dallas is contending.

I don't think its really a possible trade. It was just some Bucks fan trying to make it sount like he knows people. I still cant believe people take these kind of rumors seriously

Wait until a reliable source runs with it before you even give it thought!

Terry would be the scorer/playmaker while Redd is the designated shooter like Michael Finley or Ray Allen with the celtics. They don't need him to handle the rock just shoot it when he's open.

They need to focus on finding a go-to low post scorer (Boozer) rather than adding a 4th swingman.

Dallas will get pummeled by teams with a strong low-post presence. They would not be able to handle LA's frontcourt with Gasol, Bynum, and possibly Odom if he re-signs.
