    Is it legal to dribble the ball really high but not palm it? In other words, can you dribble the ball, say, above your shoulders, but keep your hand on the top side of the ball at all times? I thought this was legal and not palming or travelling but was told otherwise.

    you must keep you hand above the "equator" of the ball. AND, you must not palm it. One is not necessarily exclusive of the other.

    Yeah, but assuming you do all of that, you can dribble the ball as high as you want....correct?

    Is tehre any reference to this in the rulebook...in case of a bet, if you know what i mean.
