Matt, if that is you, what the hell is wrong with KPRC's internet radio. Does it have a max of 10 listeners? Trying to get the audio during Rocket's games is like trying to walk on water. When I do get the feed, it is constantly buffering and then closes. I start it again and get audio for about 5 minutes only to have it happen all over again. I have e-mailed KPRC on numerous occasions but never got any answers.

If you could, would you enlighten us, here on THE ROCKETS #1 FAN SITE as to why those of us who no longer live in Houston are unable to or have so much problem listening to THE ROCKETS #1 VOICE, GENE PETERSON.

    Thanks in advance.

Be cool to Matt. He is a really good guy. I have it on authority that he loves cc.net too! [IMG]

Jeff, it is nothing against Matt. I like him too. I listen to sports talk often. Being here in Pennsylvania, KPRC Sports Talk keeps me on top of the Houston Sports scene. I just wish I could listen to the Rockets on their Houston flagship station. They changed servers and yet they still have the same problem.

Yes doctor.....it is me....and Jeff is right this web site is a blast.....I will soon put out the schedule for all of Rudy's shows...to answer other issues...

    1) the nba does not allow us to broadcast the games....they want you to go to their web site....we hate it....it is a pain in our webmaster's a** but it is a league rule...

    2) Just want to remind everyone that we will have post game call in shows following all games except games that start after 9 o'clock...I will be doing most of them so call in and free feel to drop in clutchcity.net as often as you like....
The show is called the "5th quarter" and I've been told we will giving away lots of prizes during the year...

    3) I am working on some players for a weekly radio show....problem is just working out the schedule....all I can say now is that he is a starter.

Love the site and if there is anything I can do to help....please send a message

Much thanks Matt, for explaining the problem. Guess its not KPRC's fault at all. I apologize if I came off as being harsh.

I will take a wild guess as to the player:

    Shandon Anderson

Hey Matt, thanks for coming out of the shadows.

From Lurker to Poster: The Matt Thomas Story - sounds like a Lifetime "very special" movie. [IMG]

BobFinn, you should get the NBA Audio Pass. Last yr, it was $20 for the entire season and you listen to the games over nba.com. They added in home and road feeds last yr so you can get Gene Peterson's call for all 82 games.

Actually MManal, I bought a dish. I can watch the games now and listen to Worrell and Murph.

It was frustrating last season, not having the dish and having to hunt for audio feeds that worked. There is always someone in the chat room who has a feed that works.

Just fighting for the cause of those dishless Rocket fans not in Houston.

I have a feeling we'd all be surprised at some of the lurkers hiding in the shadows here (many of whom I'm sure are going to stay there unless they post under an assumed identity). CC.net is gaining notoriety all the time and the high profile of SOR.com sure didn't hurt that either.

Thanks for all the info Matt. I've always loved listening to Gene call the games and enjoy hanging around after for the post-game analysis.

My guess on your player guest: Franchise

So, for those of you that heard the broadcast last night, anything interesting to pass along?
