Glad everyone enjoyed the show. Here is this week's edition. I cranked down the bit rate a bit to reduce the file sizes. This one runs roughly 54 minutes, and is ~25 Mb. I am uncertain how regularly I will be able to do this, but will get one online when I can. Merry Christmas to all! http://homepage.mac.com/echen/FileSharing3.html
My summary of what Rudy said that struck me from what I remember from listening to the radio show. 1) Passing it into Yao is harder than you might think. Dream saw that in Toronto where they were not used to having a go to post player. In one practie they tried for an hour unsuccessfully to use a new method to do so. 2) It never works when you have three guys who can play at the same position. Someone had to go. 3) He could not use KT at the three, though he tried to solve the problem that way. The new zone defenses take away the drive to the basket and the post up game quite a bit. 4) Mo T will do better one he "gets his legs back." 5) He knows Posey is not the greatest shooter, but he was brought in for defense and "movement". Posey is versatile can play the 3, his natural position, but can play the 2 and Denver even thought of using him at the 1. 6) He is concerned with Yao getting too many minutes. Also with Steve and Cuttino, both of whom are somewhat banged up. Posey can help reduce Cuttino and Steve's minutes.
Not good. File is too big. If this is a sound file, why can't you listen on the fly? I won't spend 2 hours to download this.
First, thanks a bunch. I dont get mcuh Rockets covereage and this is great. reptilexcq show some respect. all you do is b****, take the time to thank people for doing you a favor. If you dont like, you dont have to listen to it. And be more repectful when you make an request.
It sure didn't seem that way last night...I was miffed when Yao trotted out there to start the 4th quarter. Cato gets 9 boards in 10 minutes, and he can't get in the game the second half? I thought for sure Yao would tire out by the end of the game. Rudy used to do the same thing all the time with Hakeem in '97-'99. He'd be dead tired by the end of the game, and ineffective, because Rudy would never give him a rest.
Thanks, edc. I usually catch the show in traffic, but often don't finish the whole thing. Keep up the good work! The bandwidth is excellent; only took about 2 mins to download...
