(just tried to scribble it down really fast, nothing extraordinary) - we were very fortunate - we were talking to a lot of people early, but there is always a lot of negotiating in the draft...we have been trying to move up for a week - it is just like the steve francis situation - we get a player of incredible talent without having had to go through a year of winning 20 games only - i really like terence morris, we thought he was going to declare a couple of years ago - this guy fits our system - i have been watching this guy - he is more talented than many of the first round picks (interviewer: you have to be shocked that this fell into your lap) - yes, absolutely, i never thought we would have an opportunity like this - without the extra pick from last year, we would not have been able to make this deal now - eddie might still be growing - eddie is very versatile, i could see the guy playing three positions (interviewer: how does that all fit together with hakeem) - i cannot say anything about hakeem until the 1st of july (interviewer: is it your plan to be a player in the free agent market) - (only laughing) (interviewer: do you think there might be a good chance to win in the west by going small?) - don't know about our chances in the west, but we would definitely have great chances in the east (laughing) - we are not that small, we do have some long players - mo taylor is a long guy - eddie has long arms, can block shots and rebound - before the draft, we wanted shotblocking, rebounding and inside scoring with three picks, i never thought we would get that all in one guy!!!
