Just wanted to let you all know that Rudy was on 90.1's Vegan show today. I never listen to it, but I was in the car switching stations and heard a familiar voice . . . none other than Rudy T's. I got there somewhat into the program, but he talked about the Vegan raw food diet he'd been on and how he's lost a lot of weight on it and is in great shape. Talked about how much he loved the food and liked the lifestyle. It's fundraiser season, so they were offering a "vegan" Rudy T signed basketball for $250 pledges. "Vegan" meaning it's a synthetic leather, not real leather. I was hoping he'd say something about his cancer, but I didn't hear anything during my time listening. Anyone else catch this?
I caught the very end. Great to hear Rudy's grizzled voice again. Did he mention how he's doing with the cancer? On another note, that show he was on sounded just like that "Delicious Dish" skit on SNL. "Good times..."
Great to hear Rudy taking control of his diet and doing well. He's a class act and I know everybody here wishes him well.
