Happy Birthday, Rudy T! Although pryuen would never believe me... I did see Rudy T a few weeks ago in Field of Greens. I guess he likes to eat his veggies and tofu. He smiled at us and said hi. Then some guy who must have known he was going to be there brought in an Academy bag and had him sign a basketball. Rudy's such a cool guy... glad he still hangs out in Houston after all these years.
Happy Birthday RudyT........Your a part of the fabric of Houston, but it's how you've lived your life, who you are, Rudy, that many of us admire most.
I think, considering what happened soon after in LA, poor Rudy needed to step away and get some rest. Definitely wish he was still part of the organization, though.

A Happy Birthday wish to you, Rudy. May your 'heart of a champion' continue beating for years to come. You will always be one of my favorite Rockets. You brought the first 2 championships to Houston, after all. And you are always so gracious to fans who approach you, still to this day. That is a testament not only to your character, but it shows that you know what it means to be a beloved Houston Sports Figure. We take pride in our Championships and our own, in that Houston-small-town way.
