I can't believe GLen Rice gets only 13 minutes and 3 shots in this game. Last time we needed a big game he played his role and came out of it with 23 points and solid team defense...tonight?? DId Posey and Hawkins contain Jordan?? I'm sorry...did Jordan go for 30 something??? LAst time these two teams met Rice drew the defensice assignment and held him to a miserable night shooting...plus he outscored him. That GLen Rice did not get any meaningful playing time is a waste and a travesty. We were ridiculously lucky to even make a game out of this. Even the TNT announcers had to admit that Rice should have definetly been in the game at certain moments...the majority of the game even. Posey is a piece, and Hawkins is good for defensive minutes...but 30 of them, in a close game with a shooter like Rice on the bench, especially when nobody is containing Jordan, is an all out pity. Rudy T you are an absolute moron and should be led out to pasture and shot in the head. I can't believe that coaching choices made tonite. We were outscored by 20 in the first half so let's come back with the same gameplan??? BLEgH!! We were lucky the Wizards struggled by their own hand in the 2nd half. We needed a change on that court and we weren't given it. The only minutes Rice played were at the 4...and that is insane. Rudy T get the hell outta my life....whoever replaces his miserable role...FREE GLEN RICE!!!!
niiiice. Rice should be only getting 13 minutes a game, esp when the opposing team has a good sf. his d stinks. his shot is overrated at this point in career. w/o his shot he is a enormous liabiltiy on the floor.
wake up dude. glen rice got 13 minutes more than he deserved tonight. he only had 3 shots because he cannot create his own shot. he is the worst defensive player on the team, and possibly in the entire league (as evidenced by christian ****ing laettner blowing by him). rice is miserable. but yes, RT is an idiot.
