This is a big chance for Rudy and Francis(our leader)to learn just how to play team basketball, because the Rockets, at present need to start learning how to pass the ball and how to shoot. These are of course fundamentals and they are sorely lacking in the Rockets Team!NACHBAR AND MADDOX COME IN AND SHOW HOW TO DO IT. Its about time!!

What the hell were they discussing at halftime?

You have their big men in foul trouble and yet you come out jacking up perimeter shots in the 3rd. Why is there no inside-outside offense? This is so frustrating to watch because we know they can be so much better.

Oh well, I hope we lose by 50 to teach our guards a lesson in distributing the freaking ball.

This game will be a real loss unless we lost by 50.

Rudy's a total moron. If he hasn't learned thus far, what makes you think he's going to learn how to implement team ball now. Rudy's a joke, and this team is never going anywhere with Rudy as the coach and I'm going to continue to stand behind that stance.

Rocket was off psot-season for recnt three years. Is only a PG taken blame? Nay. Rudy doesnot know how running offense.
Look at the PG abd PF he selected. PF annot shoot, PG cannot pass. Only take care their stat.

It ain't Rudy, it is the players.

The players are the ones making mistake after mistake.

Rudy can tell or preach to them how they should play the game, but until they commit to playing team basketball they will always lose to the better teams.

    :D :D :D

As you can see, my starting line has been below, which has
    aways included Boki! :D

The best players should start. Good things will happen.

As a head coach, he definitely shoube the one accountable for
the game. Like tonight. KT can not defend Webber, made too
many dumb shot attempts. Tudy still played him in the game. That was bad coaching.

This tells me that Rudy's not getting through to the players. Rudy's the coach. He has the authority to sit butts on the bench if they are not following intruction, including Steve. Rudy's not running this team. This team is loss out there most of the time, and it really shows against elite teams. I know the players are at fault too because they have to make the plays, but Rudy gets a grade of F for managing this team. It extremely frustrating watching the Rockets these days, and Rudy has the look of a helpless coach out there. As far as I'm concerned Rudy is an uneffective coach for this team.

    Pooh,

I agree that Rudy should be more forceful, ala Larry Brown.

However, I think Rudy wants his players to learn by taking their lumps.

This game will be great for them to study and to make points about how a depleted team like Sacremento can still smoke the Rockets by playing team basketball.

And how journeymen players like Christie, and Bobby Jackson, etc become very good playing a team oriented game.

Imagine how good the Rocks could be if they played this way.......

But how many ass kickings is it going to take for the Rockets to learn? I just don't think they get it. I see flashes sometimes, but overall they regress back to their old stagnant ways. I'm sick of it.

I don't know what game you watched, but Webber scored 8 quick points on Eddie. He scored at least 6 points on Mo, and two on a mismatch when Kenny had to cover someone else.

At very most, Webber scored 4 points on Kenny in about 18 minutes KT guarding him. This was another in a long line of solid defensive/rebounding games by Kenny.

but go ahead, hate him mercilessly for his 9 shots and blame everything on him. Or try watching the Rockets play defense and tracking who is guarding whom; you might learn someting.

Rudy doesn't have any balls. He's scared to yell at players.

    222,

Well said! I will stand with you! Wonder what will be said when Rudy fails to coach Rox to playoffs.

How many games do the Rockets have to lose before a coach change or trading players? The Kings were short handed. Very very disgusting loss!

Kenny Thomas sucks, and he'll keep sucking until he realizes his offense sucks and sticks to hustling, defense and rebounding.
Saw that play where Kenny brought up the ball and then pulled out that sorry ass isolation play on Webber?

I hope when Cat comes back and if he starts, Kenny is benched. I'd hate to see those two on the court at the same time.
