Did any of you read the new SI article on Rudy T. getting punched in the face by Washington. Man it brings back all the pissed off feelings back. The guy can't even say he is sorry without making an excuse. Got to blame everything on racism. Man I didn't know Rudy had such a drinking problem, with that and the injury I can't believe that he is still alive.
The punch was pretty bad, but I'm not suprised that he is still alive. People survive much worse. What do you think Rudy is drinking during the game? I'll give you a hint: Rum and Diet Coke
You need to read "The Punch" by John Feinstein. Rudy has does not have any more bad feelings, and nether does Kermit. Kermit has even done some scouting for Rudy; Sonny Watson. Forget the fact that he was waived. Rudy and Kermit are on good terms today.

I thought Rudy had the drinking in check. After the alleged DWI in '96, Rudy comitted to taking better care of himself. Then later - -In '99? when he had a period of exhaustion from his schedule, he committed to more rest and less stress. I do not know if he went through a 12 step program or if he even drinks anymore, but I do not think he is some raging drunk....He is not drinking during a game....
